Re: The Parable ot the Tortured Debtor

Hey Brendan, What a nice little surprise to finish the week. I'm in that "not quite time to leave but too late to start something new on a Friday afternoon" mode, so I check Lugnet, and here's a new parable. :D Title: Hmm, I probably would have (...)   Re: Does Anyone Have Any Information On This?

(...) Yes, it is a Decapod built by Brian. He actually brought it to the TCLTC clubhouse so that I could see it in person:-) He even installed a sound card in it (tres cool). JOHN (21 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Does Anyone Have Any Information On This?

(...) I think that might be the work of Brian Williams. IIRC he had a Frisco engine that won a very special mention at BrickFest DC 2003,,, (21 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Modularity of LEGO (was Re: LEGOs (sic) make an appearance at ExtremeTech

Modularity of LEGO (was Re: LEGOs (sic) make an appearance at ExtremeTech

(...) (snip) (...) It's a pet peeve of mine to insist that the analogy of modular programs to LEGO parts is overrated and underrated at the same time. Every so often this analogy pops up in tech articles on modular software engineering, without (...) (21 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.general, lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) Thanks, Jon. (...) Heh, yeah, the bow-legs are a little goofy, but I like them too, better than my previous way of having minifigs ride camels. It's pretty funny to see one of the camel riders retain that pose when he's off the camel. It's (...) (21 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Brickcreations.com is now online!

(...) I'd kinda like to see better photos of that one as well, but more because I'm interested in seeing how feasible it would be to build Batman in that same style, as he's a much cooler character. And he can beat up Superman. Do you still have (...) (21 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: New MOC - Poster of my favorite band

(...) Yes, exactly. (...) Yes, it is a really well done work of graphic art and an even better work of art reproduced in LEGO! What a great thing to have hanging in one's house! John (21 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.loc.de)

Re: New MOC - Poster of my favorite band

(...) Like "finch", in English? In any case, really nice -- took a second to realize that I was actually looking at the Lego model instead of a poster that inspired the model. (21 years ago, 12-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.loc.de)

  Re: Brickcreations.com is now online!
