As usual, really sweet work!

Thanks, Jon.

I like the riding legs,

Heh, yeah, the bow-legs are a little goofy, but I like them too, better than my
previous way of having minifigs ride camels.  It's pretty funny to see one of
the camel riders retain that pose when he's off the camel.  It's reminicent of
Outlaw on the Atari 2600.

The throne is really genius as well.

Thanks.  I guess I have this unwritten rule for The Brick Testament: never the
same throne twice.  I think this one is my favorite so far.

Are those coins silver or is it a lighting effect?

It's Photoshop trickery.  They are just the standard gold coins which I set to
display in greyscale mode, making them pass as silver, and thus matching the
text of the story.  It bothers me to do that kind of thing in Photoshop, rather
than find a LEGO solution, so I try to keep it to an absolute minimum.

That hat on the guy crowning the king, how did you
do that?

That's the speeder bike stormtrooper helmet turned backward, and resting on his
head.

Hey it was cool seeing you at brickfest.

Yes, it was nice to meet you for two seconds.  @8^)

I'm a fan of your work and it was cool to actually see you
in person.  I hope I didn't come across like one of those
strange fans who needs to be removed by security,

Nah, the feeling was sort of mutual.  I was like "woah, that's Jon Furman!"  And
then you left so quickly I thought I must have been some big disappointment to
actually meet in person or something.
