I made the decision to not mention my time with Legoland, just in case there IS
a legal reason. I guess I would be afraid that if my site promotes me as FORMER
LEGO MASTER BUILDER!!! Come buy my stuff!!! It might be percieved as a bit of a
conflict of interest, not to mention crass. I kinda thought I wanted it to be
more about the work that I am doing rather than what I was at one time. I am a
Lego sculptor whether or not I work for the Lego company 2 years ago, or 10
years from now! The only reason I mention my time with the company on Lugnet, is
because I have met many of you through my time with Lego at various events and
meetings. But as time passes, I hope to be seen more as Bill, the guy who builds
kinda cool models, than Bill the ex-Lego master model builder!
As for showing models that I created while with the company, I can show them as
part of my portfolio, or to individuals. But to show them on a website with the
express purpose of selling models for profit, I would have to get witten
permission from the company for anything that they have in the park. Not that
it's a big deal, I can totally understand their point of veiw. But rather than
go through all the trouble to get a couple of things I did a while ago I hope to
update the site fairly regularly with NEW creations.
I have a few new things I have been itchin' to post on Brickshelf, but I'm still
waiting to see what my clients are wanting to do before I let the world see the
new models!

Thanks! I enjoyed making it. I only take one or two shots of a completed model
and the best one gets put in my portfolio. Unfortunately, that is one I did
before I got hip to using a digital camera, so the scan turned out kinda blurry
(same with the princess). I will look through my old photos and if I find any
different angles I will let you know!
