  Re: Household uses for LEGO

(...) Duh, I forgot! GMLTC has a jig for module building too. It's so simple, it hardly deserves the name. Basically it's a 2x8 (or 10, I forget which) with a handle to get the column spacing right. Thanks for reminding me. I think it was made for (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: Household uses for LEGO

(...) I made a jig to help speed up the building of my modules. It would slide into place around one tower of 2x2 bricks and have a notch for the next tower. It would slip out very easily and had tiles on the bottom to allow it to slide over the (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: Household uses for LEGO

This doesn't quite count, but it's close. I just ran off 10 copies of my black hopper. Since this was tedious, I did everything I could to make it quick, by doing the same step over and over. After I got to a certain point in the construction, I (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

(...) I think we are, yes. The part is used as a "connector" between two models in the sets. In 4216 two of them are used to connect a "trailer" to a camel(!). (...) Good idea, yes. Most of the tow trucks I've seen in Norway are red. But the blue (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

  Colors for a part?

Hi all! I am wondering which colors a certain part is available in. The part is number 6247. I don't think there is an 'official' name for it yet, but you could describe it as a 1 x 11 strip, about the thickness of a halfbean/liftarm, no holes, (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

Seconded. This site is awesome. I have one minor beef, which could be a Netscape problem... Dennis uses floating or "wrapped" pictures in which the text is supposed to flow around the pictures, but in some cases, at least on my NS 4.0x browser, the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

Hello Craig, I've been looking for the same set. I saw a Lego history site that talks about this set and even had a few pics. I think it was an English site. I can't remember the number of the set that contained the gears and chain links either. I (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)
