Re: Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

(...) My current problem for joints is parts selection. I don't have the 2 & 3 fingered hinge plates that would be needed for the other approach I'd envisioned. I think they would work well, but I'm not sure if the length of the legs would be too (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

(...) Its not ugly, just colorful! Actually i think it looks rather cool and alot more useful than the molded ones. I think if the colors were the same, it would look pretty good and i could verify that if i wasnt sitting over 150 miles from my (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

(...) I disagree with j0n on the boxy aspect of your module. Yeah, it's boxy. But it's a good kind of boxy. It's a big monolithic keep-the-little-man-down kind of box. It has a sense of design about it, even if that design is totalitarian. The mech (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New MOC: JuggerGnat

My first submission to space and/or mecha in ... actually, I don't know that I've ever posted a space-ish MOC before. So here goes: (URL) at just over two-minifigs-tall, the JuggerGnat (note spelling - *not* juggerNAUT) is a small mech or large suit (...)   Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

(...) Frank Zappa. (...) I'm thinking Arctic Landmate facility. Gonna be fun. (...) Okay. I just think of combat mecha as a fantasy anyway, no matter what the style. I actually like the Mauser quite a bit, I just don't think it's any more (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

(...) Dude, I love this one; makes me want to go build a big grey boxy castle. So clean and lovely on the outside. And nice solar panels (well *I* think they are :-) The mech. Well, it sucks. Not my cup of tea at all. But hey, it folds up nicely and (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

hello! (...) I always appreciate things that are built with bricks rather than using one big molded piece. So you earn a laud for this in any case. And well, your horse is not pretty but I wouldn't go so far and say it's ugly. Particularly the gap (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

(...) Did you consider a lot of possibilities for joints? It might be useful to have a collection of ugly ideas, who knows, they might turn up in more beautiful places? I like the 1x2 plate with bar for muounting legs, that seems really useful. I (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mauser Support Facility

(...) I dig this. It looks realistic, and it would sit well next to the "moonbase standard armory" that Fred Trayers built: (URL) I have to agree with Jon...while I like some of the features of your mechs, they still kinda look matchstick boxes on (...)   Re: MOC: Land Rover Defender 110

(...) Thanks, I'm glad you like it. (...) Don't forget the snorkel (which is missing in my picture, I don't know yet how to add flexible hoses in MLCAD). And your model is big enough to add the warn winch at front. If you wish I can give you an (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)
