Re: New Mecha - The Macro Bot - Next Generation Little Bot

It's bots like this one that make me nervous - small enough to crank out, big enough to show the rest of us up :). Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 22-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

mini MOCs; most from Designer set 4096

Here's some mini MOC's: a hinged dumper, 2 versions (URL) farm tractor (could be used as minifig scale) from set 4096: (URL) 'humvee' looking vehicle also from set 4096 (piece pictured in top left corner is in set 4096 & is to be exchanged for (...)   Fun with Duplo

Would you believe that my 2 1/2 year old niece built this tower entirely by herself? Apparently she brought out her toddler chair to reach the top of this monstrosity. Ahh, a kid after my own heart :) (2 URLs) (21 years ago, 22-Jun-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.duplo)

Re: New Mecha - The Macro Bot - Next Generation Little Bot

Eric, An excellent model! Do my eyes decieve me or did you actually use minifig reg capes in the back of the head? Truly an inspiring creation! I have to agree with Chris, I think a blue one is needed. Since this is next generation model, it might (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Table discussion

(...) Jon-- Good to hear you're getting settled in. I'm very, very envious. I've been thinking about this same question, in anticipation of getting my own "workshop" back together about 12 months from now. Yes, I'm ahead of the game, for once, but (...)   Re: New Mecha - The Macro Bot - Next Generation Little Bot

(...) Dang! For as quick as this went together, it's amazing! As I've said a million times, I am not a mecha fan (in terms of the genre) but definitely am in terms of the building techniques. I think I said the other day to you on the phone that (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Table discussion

(...) Jon, I would go with the Jerker tables. For $40 more you have more refined yet homely units, if that makes sense, and just as sturdy (I assume). Everything my family has bought from IKEA has been durable and well-designed. I'd be sure that the (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.storage, FTX)

  LEGO Table discussion

Here I sit on the floor in my (hopefully soon to be furnished) new place in Seattle. I have a nice long wall that I'd like to use for my LEGO and computer area. I used to use one of those white molded plastic folding tables that you can get at Sam's (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.storage, FTX)

New Mecha - The Macro Bot - Next Generation Little Bot

After I created the (URL) Little Bot Series> I always wanted to create the next generation Mecha that was more flexible and poseable than my previous creations. I spent Only Two Days building it.   Re: Standing on the shoulders of Giants

(...) Well, I must say...leave it to Anthony to generate a wicked draconic project, scales included. (...) Well, that seems to have been accomplished...the only concern now is movement articulation.   Re: Instructions for Mecha
