Here I sit on the floor in my (hopefully soon to be furnished) new place in

Any of you have one of these? Like it? Hate it? Even though the plastic table
I had was perfect and sturdy Id rather not go that route again. Lookin for
something a little more woodish and steelish.
What do you think? Ideas? What do you use?

Jon,
I would go with the Jerker tables. For $40 more you have more refined yet homely
units, if that makes sense, and just as sturdy (I assume). Everything my family
has bought from IKEA has been durable and well-designed. Id be sure that the
height is comfortable, but if its the same as what you had before then no
worries. I do not have anything special as I dont have my own space for LEGO
stuff (outside of the basement and theres no table surfaces down there, so I
cant comment on an item). I have actually given thought to this more than once
and would like to know what works out for you. Also, I would say that the
attachable fixtures are another plus for the IKEA stuff.
Another idea might be to check out what types of table-top bookshelves/cases
they have and if any are compatible with the Jerkers or other models at IKEA.
You might find something that fits nicely between any windows along that wall.
