  Re: New mecha: Hoplite

(...) Thanks! But what is AKAIAC? (sorry, havent gotten all my vocab words down yet ;) ) (...) Yeah, when i completed the model, i noticed it was kind of hard to see some of the details, the only reason i used so much black was because i have (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What I made from the 4099 Robobots Designer Set

(...) You know what? Your right. I wonder if I messed with the speed or something. I'm gonna try again. (just looked again) Ya, its weird cuz' I'm doing the shoots on Glossy Sheets. (URL) the surrounding area is canvas. Its, like its dulling the (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: What I made from the 4099 Robobots Designer Set

Eric, This looks interesting. One thing that confuses me, though - what's up with the dark pictures? I noticed that the pic of this mecha and classic space bot that you built were photographed in very dark conditions. In the past (with the little (...)   Re: Anyone up for some sweeping changes?

(...) Not bad for a five minute design idea, eh? ;) (...) Cool. I had no plans to do away with any part of the previous sidebar, but it was in serious need of streamlining. Expect the builder page to undergo some serious changes in the near future (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mecha: Hoplite

Okay Frank, here's my thoughts: I'm feelin' the mohawk! This is brilliant and AKAIAC, the best part of the mech. It compliments the rest of the mech well-it helps accent the bulky feel of your design. That said, I can't say I like much else on the (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Invictus Horriblus- 'The Unconquerable Horror'

(...) I haven't? Funny, I though all my completed mecha were posted on Brickshelf. Now you're making my wany to go back over the past few years worth of creations and check that fact. :) (...) Not only recovered, but got a complete (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New mecha: Hoplite

I just recently finished this mech. I built it so my other Medium mecha had a counterpart. I am mostly proud of the head design. I got the idea of using the "mowhawk" from watching 'Mad Max' the night before :) The leg an arm design are similar to (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Kranix (Morbelus, LOOOK it's Unicron!)

I made this mecha from my bot factory at work, drew it & transferred it to MLcad at home, since I don't have a camera at work. It's supposed to look like Kranix/Morbelus, the robotic people that get attacked by Unicron at the beginning of (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Fleet Display (was re: DSMs)

Check out our latest DSM MOC from our homepage, Fleet Display; (URL) scale models of the Imperial fleet are often on display for aspiring and current officers that would like view the different configurations of the TIEs.   Re: Disneyland's Haunted Mansion ala LEGO (Was Re: New MOC: Teaser...)

(...) Hi John! My apologies for taking so long to post a reply. I finally took the time to look through all of your photos. Very nicely done Mansion. I love the little touches here and there that I spotted, like the hanging skeleton. Leota is a very (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.disney, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  RFC: lugnet.build.aircraft

There is no appropriate place on LUGNET for Aircraft MOC's. If they are military planes, then they can be posted in lugnet.build.military, but for commercial or private aircraft models there is no single best place. I propose lugnet.build.aircraft (...)   Re: Scania P124GB10x4/6 concrete mixer (scale 1:13)

Andrea, The drum consist of four equal sections which are put together with a technic beam construction. So there's a frame inside. All four sections are connected to the frame with light grey half pins. Dennis (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-03, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.build, lugnet.lego, lugnet.technic)

B.I. Joe: A Real Imagination Hero!

Greetings! Several months ago, Jamie Neufeld and I were chatting about the toys of our youth and how they were some of our earliest inspirations for our Lego builds of today. In these conversations, we talked often about G.I. Joe and how the (...) (21 years ago, 27-May-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce, lugnet.build.military) !!

  Bioniwars followup: Guns & Gear

A number of people requested better shots of the guns, and while most of them look really strange without hands in the way to hide stuff like the oversized handgrips, daytime TV is horribly boring, so I used my extra day off to put together photos (...)   Re: Moses is Dead

(...) I guess it's more in the selection of the stories. You seem to have chosen each of these stories and left out others, which is, of course, your option.
