  Re: Dreadnaught 2002

(...) Hey there, Lindsay. Yes, the "Hyper Saw" actually spins...there's a micro motor under the hood. I figured if BrikWars makes you take up space for a propulsion system, it might as well do something. Besides, it's kinda cool to watch. As for the (...)   Re: Cathedral Of the Gears

(...) Those are the spiral staircase steps from the Harry Potter theme. That was my favorite little build detail. I also really like the inclusion of the gears in the spires of 2x2 round bricks. Creepiest thing is the trans orange spiders attacking (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: MOC: WWII Japanese Heavy Cruiser "Takao"

(...) Who? Me? ;-) (...) Yep, I did. Appreciate it! (...) Sorry to hear about this year. Here's to 2004- it's a long way off, but lookin' forward to it! TJ (22 years ago, 27-Jan-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.boats)

  Re: Dreadnaught 2002

(...) I'd been wondering who had the singular joy of creating that demented "Hall of Doom on a buzzsaw" (think "Superfriends")--was the Vader helm a part of the original plan, or did it just sort of get popped on top of it? And, well, how much (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  White Temple and Others

<snip> (...) That White Temple is really cool! Great use of an otherwise almost useless peice. The entire design combines a simple look, while being structurally interesting. over all a great success! I look forward to more! -lenny (...)   Dreadnaught 2002

NELUG hosted a BrikWars game the other weekend. It was a superheroes themed game and I was lucky enough to be the one who created all the villains. Dreadnaught 2002 (twenty-oh-two) is a next generation weapons platform designed to destroy the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Cathedral Of the Gears

(...) Nice work. Very interesting details. Good usage of those Harry Potter stair pieces. The tombs/graves are a good touch. I like the guards weapon, the gear cludgel is neat. -Jason +---...---+ Jason Spears MichLUG - (URL) Page - (URL) (22 years ago, 27-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

  Red M&M guy

I think we've all seen this guy before. Red M&M was built from a smaller M&M dispenser we have. Took only about a week to complete. Unsure how many bricks. I hope you enjoy. (URL) (22 years ago, 27-Jan-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.announce, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Super Mario Bros. sculptures

I just worked up a sculpture of the fire flower from Super Mario World. And, seeing as I still haven't taken it apart, I took some photos of the mushroom I made over a year ago, but never photographed. (URL) not used Brickshelf since before the (...)   Re: MOC: Willys Jeep with variations

(...) Fine pictures Constantine I like the shorter back. I think its more true to the original. Mattias (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Cathedral Of the Gears

Keith: Wonderful MOC. I love the details and the all gray color scheme. Very foreboding and ominous. One question, what piece is used for the "keyhole" shape which is inset on the third and fifth levels? Tim (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: MOC: Willys Jeep with variations

Thank you for your effort, Mattias. Interesting that I have the same wheelbase but that one extra plate of height, and one studs' worth less length at the back, should make a difference. (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Whoa- Jaw-Dropper New Mecha

Hey all- Browsing along through brickshelf, I stumbled across these. My apologies to the guy if he was gonna post them, but I hadn't seen him around here. (URL) WoW! NICE medium mecha designs, not to 'weaponized', great coloring, sweet use of (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

"Keith Goldman" <legomankeith@aol.com> wrote in message news:H9BE9E.G1z@lugnet.com... (...) I love it! it's got a creepy, second-dark-ages beauty about it, so blatant in it's form. nobody who saw it could have any doubt that this building was (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: MOC: WWII Japanese Heavy Cruiser "Takao"

(...) Thanks for the kind comments, Bruce; your interest in the vagaries of nauticality (pyratical and others) has been part of the ongoing inspiration for doing these things.
