  Oh my.... WWII weapons...

I know .castle has some posts from a month or two back about Jeff Byrd's prototype castle gear and Jeff posted in .starwars a bit ago to refer to fbtb.net for new SW weapons. While I was wandering Brickshelf's recent uploads I came across this (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: UCS Naboo Starfighter 2.0

(...) Maybe you didn't realize that the "A" in AFOL stands for "Adult," not "Able-to-drop-everyt...Wars-MOC." I would guess that most of the _Adult_ readers of lugnet.starwars have other things to do. How 'bout developing an app that sits in my (...)   Re: UCS Naboo Starfighter 2.0

(...) It's kinda sad-- I remember getting bummed my first couple times when I'd post a creation and not get any responses, but really, that's not why you should be posting. If you're posting because you're looking for praise, then I agree with you. (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  Re: GALAXY ENFORCER 2002 WINNERS

Re: Optimus Prime (Autobot Commander) : More Than Meets The Eye

In the name of vector sigma I've never seen something so cool. F***ing amazing. Makes me sad though, I had planned on someday trying to make optimus, but not like that, god no. That's amazing. I love it. I want to steal it. I might try to make a (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  MOC: X40A Ranger Alpha

Greetings! I've had a lot of time to kill this month while looking for a new job (anyone need a slightly used Mac programmer?), so I thought I'd finally post a few shots of some MOCs I've built. I've been haunting the newsgroups for years and (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Optimus Prime (Autobot Commander) : More Than Meets The Eye

(...) Hmm, I never thought that someone could build an Optimus Prime as nice as that one but I do have to tell you about some slight errors in construction.   The Study of Autumn

Well, it's Autumn down here in Southern California- LL-CA has cut its open hours, kids are in school, and the only people at the beaches are the local surfers wearing their full wetsuits.   Re: Optimus Prime (Autobot Commander) : More Than Meets The Eye

(...) Well, Scott, it's not that I don't want to, believe me, but it's very complex and very bulky. I couldn't have plans for that unless I unbuilt it step by step and then, I am not sure I could rebuild it exactly the same! Try building it your own (...) Oh my gosh!! I am amazed! It looked great at the semi, then you made him transform!! It's incredible! Is there anyway you could be talked into posting plans for that? I would LOVE to be able to build that! Keep up the great work! Scott (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
