  Re: PSTB "Pork" Grind

(...) Kudos!! I think that this is one of your best yet! All that research paid off! Color scheme is cool. I especially like how whole cockpit flips up. Way cool. The best part though is the articulation. A side kick to the throat is always the best (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hey cool, um, I can't see the pictures, are they deep linked to BS. Anyway the thumbnails are cool. I'll check back to see the full size pix. My initial impresion is: COOL Color Scheme! Neato-Peices! Sweet Design! Legomaster (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  PSTB "Pork" Grind

I hopped on the powersuit bandwagon. Since everyone else is making them, I figured I should too. I present the PSTB "Pork" Grind. There pictures, a little story, and construction notes at Tony's Lego Stuff. Tony's Lego Stuff: (URL) (after (...)   MOC: Another Escher Picture - Ascending and Descending

I've just finished another joint project with Daniel Shiu. This time it's Escher's "Ascending and Descending". You can find it at (URL) haven't included any detail or "how we did it" pictures yet, but I'll try to put them up in another day or two. (...)   Re: Lamps made from Lego Pen Beads

(...) One problem with using the beads as columns is that they are NOT a multiple of any LEGO unit in height. Frank (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New Guy here!

yeah, i think im going to redo the shoulders and arms, i was just in a hurry to finish the mech and i just kinda threw the arms together so they are kind of weak. I will post some views of the joints (i made the mech modular, so if any joints broke (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Rendering of a Bryce Rollins model

Just finished some renders of Bryce Rollins' SH-60. Coloration may be off from his z-renders but it's pretty close. All of Bryce's models are great, but I thought he really captured the feeling and flair of the SH-60 Seahawk. Anyway have a look: (...)   Re: New Guy here!

Yeah, i do tend to build my mechs larger than scale I.E. Atlas, but i build them so they look right, anfd i try to scale the mechs to eachother, so a commando isn't taller than a zeus... For the warhawk i used pretty much 2 joints... For the hips, (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Guy here!

dude, the Warhawk is too da** cool! I think you've got the Mechwarrior feel down pat. Some of the joints look a little small (shoulder) Mechy bits at ankles, hips, and knees are beautiful. Bravo. Any details inside? If you can get any of the grey (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Lamps made from Lego Pen Beads

Nice. I like lamp2 the best, personally. Second model in a couple of days using pen beads (this and the pumpkin patch). Are pen beads the next big thing? I actually have the alphabet pen and was thinking of using those beads as columns in a (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: New MOC: Vox Mantis BioMech

That's great. Gil- the details, such as the 'hairs' on the legs, are great. The model looks very much like an insect, and the cockpit is great. Excellent! -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Guy here!

(...) Wow, your Masakari ROCKS! The only visible problem is the fact that it is almost TOO big. But hey, that's good, right? ;) Anyway, I forgot to say my fave mech for combat is the Thor-Summoner by FAR. In MW3, you can strip all the weaps off it, (...)
