To answer your questions: Yes, most of my mechs are stable enough to be
used frequently, although the lighter ones are much more stable and poseable
than my larger ones.

I would have to say my favorite battletech mech in terms of looks is the
mauler, but when i play MechWarrior4 My favorite to fight in is an argus.

Although the only tanks i have are some megablok and other lego-clone sets,
i do have lots of infantry, i even painted some minifigs with model paint
for a jungle camoflauge. My mechs i try to color coordinate, so far the
mechs that have the same color scheme are:

Zeus, New mech-White+green
Commando,Catapult-Black+gray
Hollander, raven-Black+yellow
Puma,atlas,crab-Red+black
Locust,vulture,Loki,Lancer-Blue+white+gray
Then my shadowcat, urbanmech, and warhawk are all have different colors then
the rest.

Wow, your Masakari ROCKS! The only visible problem is the fact that it is
almost TOO big. But hey, that's good, right? ;)  Anyway, I forgot to say my
fave mech for combat is the Thor-Summoner by FAR.  In MW3, you can strip all
the weaps off it, add some double heat sinks, and deck it out with ER-MLAS
and anything else you want.  The only problem with that is alpha strikes
tend to self destruct you.

Do you use Technic for the joints on your bigger mechs? I would think that
would be more stable, but most of mine are to small to worry about.

One more Q:  What is your dream mech to someday build?  Mine would have to
be the Riflemman.  He was my first mech ever, but he had no joints, was WAY
to small, and needed more detail.  But he hooked me into this hobby.....

Yeah, i do tend to build my mechs larger than scale I.E. Atlas, but i build them so they look right, anfd i try to scale the mechs to eachother, so a commando isn't taller than a zeus... For the warhawk i used pretty much 2 joints... For the hips, (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
