Yeah, i do tend to build my mechs larger than scale I.E. Atlas, but i
build them so they look right, anfd i try to scale the mechs to eachother,
so a commando isn't taller than a zeus...
For the warhawk i used pretty much 2 joints... For the hips, knees, and
ankles i used worm gear joints. To get the legs to splay(point outawrd)i
just made a worm gear joint, put it in a box, and put 2 turntables on either
side so it could rotate.
For the arms, i used a method where a technic part stops a gear from
moving in a direction, i got the idea from the big spyrius robot's arm
joints, i used the same method for my atlas' hips, but i am thinking of
redoing them with worm gears, which are MUCH more stable.
My dream mech to build would have to be Mauler, but the right piece
(IMHO) for the cockpit hasn't come out yet (d'oh)
My first mechs too were jointless boxes :) my catapult was maybe 6
inches tall, and the legs were made entirely of 4x2 bricks. The only moveable
part was the turntable i used to twist the torso.

| (...) Wow, your Masakari ROCKS! The only visible problem is the fact that it is almost TOO big. But hey, that's good, right? ;) Anyway, I forgot to say my fave mech for combat is the Thor-Summoner by FAR. In MW3, you can strip all the weaps off it, (...)
