  Re: star destroyer?

(...) I'd have to agree... the SMALLEST microfig tie figher I can imagine (1x2 tile, 1x1 round plate, 1x2 plate w/ centered stud) is about 9.6mm wide. TIE fighters are (roughly) 6 meters wide. The Executer (the super star destroyer) is about 8,000 (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

Lego Expo at the Toy Connection (Crystal Lake, IL)

The Lego expo at the Toy Connection Saturday was a great success! I went with Brandon Grifford (Zacktron co-creator) and took about an hour, hour and a half trip to get there [1]. Remy Evard from Lugnet was there along with Matt Chasse, TLG (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

  #1682 Space Shuttle mod

I recommend this modification to all those who have this set. 1. Replace the trans-light blue windshield (ugh!) on the Space Shuttle with the "smoke"-colored one from the rear of the Star Wars Snowspeeder. 2. Enjoy! It's a very simple switch, but (...) (25 years ago, 29-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: New models of Semi Trucks etc.

(...) I've built an eight-wide train for my 4.5V tracks, too. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to get enough friction with the track when you don't use train wheels for the drive wheels. (I was trying to Mindstorm the train. The proof of concept (...) (25 years ago, 29-Aug-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: star destroyer?

(...) Thanks. That definitly gives me some ideas. I am going to continue looking for more though. I would like to build one that micro tie fighters could fit in it's hanger bay. matthew (25 years ago, 29-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Q:Using DUPLO baseplates w/LEGO

(...) Are there more than one version? I think mine (well, Taya/Nik's) ca. 1994 did. But I could be misremembering. In that case I would think nothing will work??? (25 years ago, 28-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
