Re: Corrected Ballot (was Re: The Official Ice Planet 2002 Contest Ballot!)

(...) Already done, I figured out what you meant. And as I said, hopefully the ballot with the error will simply be deleted. So easy to cut and past into the wrong spot! That's my whole problem right there...thanks to Gil Shaw for catching the error (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Ice Planet 2002 Voting Begins Now

Hey Y'all: Because of a slight goof-up on my part I want to make very clear that the correct ballot for voting in the Ice Planet 2002 Contest is located here: (URL) previous ballot will hopefully be deleted before many of you even notice the error. (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space) !

Re: Corrected Ballot (was Re: The Official Ice Planet 2002 Contest Ballot!)

(...) I mean post to the .announce ng so it will have higher exposure. It made perfect sense in my head. :-) Jude (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Corrected Ballot (was Re: The Official Ice Planet 2002 Contest Ballot!)

(...) Well, the first one will hopefully be deleted. I have already asked that this be done. What else am I supposed to say about voting? The ballot explains who may vote, when to vote by, and who to email the ballots to afterwards. What else is (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Corrected Ballot (was Re: The Official Ice Planet 2002 Contest Ballot!)

(...) Ice Worm, You may wish to post an announce pointing to the correct ballot. (esp. since you have not posted an announce about voting yet) The Man Behind the Curtain (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: HMLS Snottler III

(...) It's not so much the covering of the port that I'm worried about as the actually fitting of 15 into either side. It'll take some very crafty work to get a deck to match ports built into a SNOTed hull to the cannon on the deck within, not to (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Corrected Ballot (was Re: The Official Ice Planet 2002 Contest Ballot!)

Hey Y'all: Yes, I had the first ballot wrong. Use this one instead. ::sigh:: This is for contestants ONLY! Comments from non-contestants are welcome, but you may not vote. There are no exceptions. The almost insanely valiant Commander Curt has the (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: Circular airlock!

(...) Thanks Paul. (...) That is a nifty idea. (...) Yeah, I did that merely to add stability without having to redo the floor to "cut" another hole into it. (...) Thanks again Paul, -Chris (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: New photos of MOC - the German 8,8 Flak/Pak

(...) Wow. While I've noticed the lack of free standing stude on your models before, I never realized that it was a de facto building policy of yours. In light of this I'm even more impressed with your models. Building without the top studs showing (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Circular airlock!

well, besides the fact that this rocks i wonder why no one has thought of it before now.... very well done this would be really cool at the rear of a ship where you could turn the whole construction 45 degrees and get the cylinder 'exit' to point (...) Ah yes..I see what you mean. As I recall Dan used it on flat wall surface with an alcove to make it airtight as the half swivled.   Re: HMLS Snottler III

(...) Thanks! (...) The helicopter is about as small as I could get it, while preserving the general shape, side-by-side seating, and clearance underneath for the torpedo. The hangar could be narrowed (by four studs if necessary - I left clearance (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Circular airlock!

(...) Thanks Gil; me either! (...) Uhh...I'm not sure, but i don't think so. I don't recall how Dan used them, but you wouldn't be able to have 1/4 of the cylinder cut out, as the 4x4 ones are in halves. I'm sure there's some kind of way to make it (...)   New Clan Ice Panther site!

Check it out at (URL) After a brief run-in with Tripod, I have convinced them to restore my previously deleted-by-them site. I have updated the Clan Battlemechs section, and the Clan Fleet areas.
