Ah yes..I see what you mean.  As I recall Dan used it on flat wall surface
with an alcove to make it airtight as the half swivled.

My original idea for the airlock on Dundee's was two of the 4x4 half
cylinders sitting on a turntable, connected together with a 2x2/1x4 hinge
plate.  But that didn't work out.
