  UCS TIE Fighter & Deconstructions

You’ll find the UCS TIE Fighter that we’ve built from the UCS TIE Interceptors that we got on clearance from TRU at our Brickshelf gallery. (URL) for the tremendous response on the deconstruction of the Sarlacc Pit. Though not as complicated as the (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc)

Re: Small update on my Military Aircraft MOCs

(...) You're absolutely right Joe, the X-29 would translate excellently into Lego. The lines on it are very clean and most of the angles can be easily done with the pieces available. Just about the only thing that worrys me is getting the proper (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Small update on my Military Aircraft MOCs

(...) I love to see your work and have a request: an X-29 forward-swept plane. I have always loved it's look and would like to see your take on it. Joe Meno (22 years ago, 10-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New MOC: RoboArm I

I am not a big fan of Lego pneumatics either, but they are so light weight and a perfect solution in your application. The micromotors have so little power, that you would have to gear them down to get any holding power for your grippers. Then (...)   Re: Small update on my Military Aircraft MOCs

Thanks again Mattias. It really was my pleasure to provide you with the .dat files as that seems to be the only way for me to be able to see some of my designs in actual ABS. I'm really looking foreward to seeing how you solved some of the inherent (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

A teaser picture of the Sepecat Jaguar...

...can now be seen in the teaser section of my brickshelf folder. I didn't plan on having it up so quickly, but it seems that I'm having a bit of a creative surge. I will post a more comprehensive look in a day or two once I get some ordnance worked (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Concerning Renders and ABS

(...) Well Kyle, I have messed around with POVray and been able to get some basic renders of some of my MOCs, but overall I'm not pleased with the quality of my rendering skills. However, I have been in concact with Anton Raves (go to (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Avro Arrow

Hey David, thanks for the link. It might be a while till I get around to it but I think that a Lego Avro Arrow is a distinct possibility. If I'm able to get my hands on a three way view of the Arrow, I can really start doing some serious planning. (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Sidebar links

What are the criteria for getting a link on the sidebar? I only have one military model, but it's a pretty big one... my PB4Y-2 Privateer: (URL) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Small update on my Military Aircraft MOCs

Woa, those are bloody cool. What's it gonna take to get real life pics, or at least POV-Ray renders??? (I can't wait!) (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New MOC: RoboArm I

OH SNAP!! That's really cool! And then Robo Arm 2!!! Dang it looks complicated, can't wait to shake it's hand in person. ;) Oh man, look at all those cool components! Drool! Legomaster (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)

Re: Small update on my Military Aircraft MOCs

I have just completed an ABS-version of Bryce F-14. Bryce kindly provided me with the dat-file. Pictures of this impressive model are in my non-digital camera and will hopefully be on brickshelf by the end of next week. Bryce F-14 is really a (...)   Re: Small update on my Military Aircraft MOCs

Hey Dave, thanks for your comments. The F-14 is my single favorite airplane and I spent more time and effort on that MOC than on any other, so I'm glad that it shows. I can honestly say that your suggestion of the Avro Arrow is truly unique. I'm (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Sidebar Updates?

(...) I think he is! ... with a little help from the readership of course. He *is* the curator of .build.military after all. :-) I just scoped out what changes he did already and they look good.   Re: Small update on my Military Aircraft MOCs

(...) These are all absolutely stunning MOCS! I don't know much about jets, but the images fit what I know the real thing to be. I've seen Top Gun (a few times ;) ) and your F14 is dead on. This one is a little obscure, but I would love to see the (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Small update on my Military Aircraft MOCs

Thanks for your comments Magnus. You are absoultely right about the A-4 and the F-4. Both are good looking aircraft and both are models that I have planned out to a pretty good extent. I really do want to do some aircraft of that era though. (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New MOC: RoboArm I

(...) Its already gone, RoboArm II is being worked on. I didnt get video of this one but I certainly will of the next. Things I'm changing for the second, I'd really like to remove all of the pnuematics, I'm not a big fan of it yet, and I think I (...)
