  Re: First Moc: DB4 Powersuit

Overall, this is a very sweet design, Tony! I like the scale you're using. My favorite 'touch'-the technic bushings used on the joints. At first I thought there was a purpose behind them, but after getting past the fact that they are only (...) (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Swarm Warrior update...

Nice Job, Mark! Though the pic is a bit tough to make out, I think I understand the level of posability you were trying to achieve. Nicely done! -Dave LUGNET #524 (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Anyone have pictures of Dan's "release party"?

(...) Hey Lindsay, Just home from Carlsbad...*WHEW!*... I know that LOTS of shots were taken of Dan's (AWESOME) tanks. Wait for Todd Thuma to get home, and I'm sure he'll be flooding BrickShelf (he took a couple of thousand shots, I believe...not of (...) (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Anyone have pictures of Dan's "release party"?

Hi all, Dan was supposed to have lots of tanks at BricksWest. Did anyone get photographs of them? Can we begin discussion? Paging Mr. Siskind...Paging Mr. Siskind... best LFB (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build)

  Yet another Valentine MOC

I've been lurking around here for a while and the day I want to post anything I have trouble registering. Oh, well, better late than never. I don't have the cheesy aspect like Adrian and Hafner but I built a Valentine Heart also. The feather in my (...)   Re: Brickswest mecha stuff

(...) I got laid off two weeks ago. Fortunately, I immediately got a new job, but I couldn't exactly take days off so soon after starting. I'll make every effort to be there next year! (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Brickswest mecha stuff

(...) Guys, wish I coulda been there. I drooled over the pictures, and love what I saw. I was planning on sending out a pack of origami mechs to crawl all over the Gomgile, BMW, and such, but time got away from me. :-( Right now, plans are for me to (...)   Swarm Warrior update...

Greetings, all. I just thought I'd let you know that I built the Swarm Warrior in real life a week or so ago, and only now did I get around to taking a picture of it. This picture demonstrates its posability. Enjoy! (URL) Nelson LCC Command: (URL) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Brickswest mecha stuff

(...) My take on Brickswest '02 It was great getting a chance to meet everyone and get a chance to put a face to their respective awesome creations.   Re: contest hosting

(...) Yeah, that's the one concern I've had. I know that if you try to host contests that require lots of effort, the hoster gets burnt out quickly. But if it takes little effort then the participants can easily get burnt. I know that it took the (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: MOC: Van Gogh's "Starry Night" mosaic

Nice work, Ed. I have a friend who had started his own Starry Night (but I think he may have abandoned the project). Good to see another LEGO mosaic in the world. eric harshbarger (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: Pope's 7 site up and running

(...) Excellent work Jamie. I like the originality of all the ships, but I think my favorite is the Hunter. I like the assymetry of it and it looks really clean. Your characters are nicely designed also. I find that I could care less about minifigs (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)

  contest hosting

So here's the idea that a friend and I came up with. We're building a setup that would completely automate (or as much as possible, automate) the process of having a lego design contest. We'd like to start having conpetitions running soon, as we've (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Warthog Anti-Aircraft/Infantry Tank...

all, here is my latest venture into the battle tank realm.   First Moc: DB4 Powersuit

I figured I would start small with my Powersuit and work on to my bigger MOC's. This was the first .dat, .pov file I have ever made, so sorry if looks bad. I created the DB4 Powersuit in real life in the same color scheme. The pilot controls the (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
