Re: Can the hair be taken off ? (Jack Stone series)

(...) I've tried a bit of force, but not to the point of damaging the hair or the head. They are clearly the right size for minifig (the cap used is the same, although the helmet and the fire helmet are new designs). And don't forget the Creator (...) Todd, I have gotten a couple of emails from you. I did not repond as I did not remember them having any direct questions within. This email address should work: lego@ericharshbarger.org eric (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

Truk Squad, New MOC mech armor

I call em Truks, I think you'll see why. (URL) in teams of three and able to mount a variety of aresenal make these search and destroy mechs terrors in most urban environments. Mark Neumann (URL) of the Snow Leopard Clan (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

(...) The arms and ankles seem a bit skinny, however... like they'd break if another mecha whacked them. I don't recommend 1-wide limbs unless you're building something small. Overall a cool idea and execution. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head -- (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

Nice Mecha! I like the idea of the fantasy mecha and I think you've done well here. I wonder, is there some problem with the joints, all the pics look like it's bending over slightly. (In one picture it looks like your mecha is doing batting (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Interfacing Znap to System

You may have already discovered this, but creations built of Znap are almost always an odd number of System studs long. I built a Space Freighter frame and the cargo containers all had to be 7 studs wide and seven studs long. I forget how tall they (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.znap, lugnet.build)

  Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

(...) I'm wondering, are you using a digital camera to take your photos, or are you scanning photographs? I've noticed with a lot of the pics of your mecha, the images are very yellow and dim, making it a difficult task to discern the detail. It (...)   Re: Too Many Stubbies™?

(...) <Mocking: On> Doom from below! [[[Stubbies™ are death to minifigs]]] ;) <Mocking: Off> (...) I too thought of that! But then said to myself: “Oh, don’t worry, the Stubbies™ will only be used in conjuncture with other small Minifig sets to help (...)   Re: Brickmania goes to Brickswest!

(...) We have winter here so a white Tiger is needed. I hope we don't have to wait long for kitchen table photos. Now Tosiakis white Pz IV must keep the enemy away until this powerful reinforcement arrives. Regards Mattias (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Inspired by the snow

All of the snow outside inspired me to grab the digital camera, some pieces and create a cute little diorama. The "tree" in the second pic is actually the leaf of a tree. (URL) mrgraff (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: Too Many Stubbies™? (Was: New Slave 1 on StarWars.com)

I'm not quite sure what to think of the new Slave I. If the colours correspond to the its colours in the movie, I can't really complain. I don't think it looks very attractive, although having an attractive spaceship is probably the last thing on Mr (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

John, I like the sholders, the head is neat, the waist is cool, the way you made that pack on the back is really cool, oh look the legs seem like they have "high waters"....what I really dig is that the legs move out and the ankles pivot to go along (...)   Too Many Stubbies™? (Was: New Slave 1 on StarWars.com)

(...) I agree...the window is too Jack Stone. More importantly though, to my mind, is the inclusion of young Boba Fett in the set...look at the picture...this seems to be the first case of LEGO using Stubbies™ to do a figure as a child scaled to an (...)   How do you figure out Tire Sizes?

Hello again, I am totally confused on tire sizes is it the number of nobs that correlated to the size? Or is it a set number size given by the lego man corp? Also Right now I have a size 13x24 what would be be the next size up? I would like wheels (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

  War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

Hello. Here is a Fantsy Mecha. Think Escaflowne. (URL) have yet to come up with a name for this specific mecha but the gereral mecha are called war striders. It is powered by the energy crystal in the back. I have pics of it with a cloth cape but (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)
