Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

(...) Yes, it somewhat looks like a converted civilian model or test prototype with the seeming gaps in frontal armor protection.   TBB the Tiny Blue Bot

If you look real quick you can just barely see them. They scurry and jump around, in and out of the Lego Area in a blink of an eye. Was it a TBB!?! :O When the LBB's are cleaning and sorting, they are a joyous creation and thusly sometimes the LBB's (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Modulex Mosaic: Calista

Good question, Jennifer. Besides the lines: CALISTA ERIC HARSHBARGER JANUARY 2002 which act as a signature, there are a few words that popped up randomly... none greater than four letters long: FULL FILL NOUN are the ones I remember. There may be (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Modulex Mosaic: Calista

Stacks and stacks of 1x1 plates aren't structurally sound, though you could make it 2 studs thick and use clear 1x2 plates tied through to the front layer. That makes it twice as expensive, though, and still not overly solid. What you really need to (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 02/25/02

(...) Yep. I actually got the idea last night. I had gone to Mark's house to take him some Appleseed manga that I had borrowed, and I was looking at some Buy-onicle parts in one of his bins. FWIW, I've found if you pre-dither an image (in Photoshop or whatever) to the number of levels the mosaic will be in, you'll get really nice gradients that reduce the (...)
