  Re: Daytona Charger

Hey cool! I wondered if someone else would do that, now I can take it off my to-do list. I like the mirrors too. Gary *heh* after I copy this one I'll have 4 different versions of that car...... LegoMasterLuke <drew@netpluscom.com> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

New and kinda-new stickfig mecha wallpaper and stuff

Hey all, It's not Gundam, it's not 5 feet tall, and it certainly doesn't use throwbot / buy-o-nickel parts. Nevertheless, here's some quick Jeremy news: I've just uploaded a new wallpaper called "Flight". Enjoy! (URL) new item I'm excited about is (...)   Re: New Box Design

(...) Nice jet! Very sleek, realistic while minimal, and quite a plausible idea. Sculpturally it works very, very well. Good job. The box idea is also cool. I read about the guy from Poland who created an art exhibit of Nazi Death Camps in LEGO (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Preview: Prototype for NOM-02

(...) You're using Gundam Project for the pics, right? Well if you are, I have some sad news, The site will be shut down. It makes me so sad, I'm going to cry... Well anyway you can get some good 3-d pics of the RGM-79SC Sniper Custom at (URL) only (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Zero 5 - Ground Attack

(...) The head definitely reminds me of "01", like it was reincarnated into a gundam w/ advanced technology... (...) I sure hope that you keep at least one gundam intact; it would sadden me to know that nothing would remain of these groundbreaking (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New Box Design

Re: Launch of the ASC Inceptor Stormscape class Destroyer

Hi there, Jordan, Thanks for some nice, constructive feedback :) (...) The colour werepretty much based on "which coloured brick is there the most of". I'm quite happy with the amount of detail that I got, although I did find the detail of some bits (...)   Re: New MOC: Turbocycle/Mecha - The Morphosis

(...) Thanks Wilson. The hands were something I wanted to integrate right from the start, but the picture in my head wouldn't work out. I plan on trying different ideas til I get it right. The bike took probably....4 hours or so to build, I'd say. I (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Zero 5 - Ground Attack

(...) I've found that the throwbot gear boxes eliminate the usual sliding of the worm gear on its shaft, making joints more solid. But the real secret to using them to make a super rigid joint is... nope, can't tell you ;-) (...) Mazinger, Getta (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Zero 5 - Ground Attack

(...) Once I finished my Falcon, my StarWars motivation declined - I'll never build anything related to StarWars again. But there are plenty of mecha themes to try, no reason to stick with one. "K" (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Launch of the ASC Inceptor Stormscape class Destroyer

That's an excellent ship! Great detail, and a color scheme that works quite well. While most of this ship is great, I don't really like the propulsion design.. Especially the wire coming out of it, it makes it unsightly.. I guess it's just a matter (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.publish, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: New MOC: Turbocycle/Mecha - The Morphosis

Hey Chris, that's pretty nifty, it looks great in mecha form. It's cool how you managed to use the "mf legs as hands" technique in the small bike. How long did it take you to build that? I can imagine the patience it takes to build a regular bike, (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Daytona Charger

I took Bram's Dodge Charger and made it a Daytona Charger. This car has always been one of my favorites, and here's my Lego version of it. The model took about two nights to build. (keep in mind that these are *my* nights - 5 pm. to about 5 AM) (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build)
