Re: New Fighters - looky look

Nice stuff. I really enjoyed looking through all of your galleries. You have some interesting building techniques implemented in a lot of places. David (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: My top 10

(...) I think, from looking at Jacob's list, that he prefers Gundam-style mecha. Your stuff is sort of big and biomechanical-looking, but definitely not Gundam. :^) Don't sweat it. I haven't built a new mecha in about 5 months, and I've fallen (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Foundry DX Update . . . More harmless mecha!

Sun, The EVA is fannnntastic! Really, really nice. The scale is perfect, the execution deceptively simple. It has just the right amount of shaping and articulation to make it 'realistic' (in the sense that it evokes the original design) and fun to (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My top 10

Hey Jeff, I gotta say I do understand what you are saying, but I think the fact remains that Bryce has been around alot longer and he just probably thought the list did'nt make sense to him. That's all, no biggie. Truth is I felt a little left out (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: I'm Back!

====Eric (...) ====Well thank you that's nice of you to say. I made these lil' bots to help me clean up. I do however build the Mechs myself over a long period of time. I try to work on my project everyday, a little at a time. Staying up late and (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Building the "Best" Millenium Falcon

(...) I've seen his great model, in fact his was the inspiration for much of the design, and once I get far enough along to show off a bit more than a tangle of wires on a big flat saucer you'll see quite a few similarities between Ben's model and (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: My top 10

(...) I agree with Jeff here. I think Jacob was just posting his OWN PERSONAL favorites. He's allowed to have favorites, and he just wanted to share his favorites with us. No need to flame the poor kid. If someone is disappointed they didn't show up (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Building the "Best" Millenium Falcon

I'm a newcomer here with a new and sizable building project I could use some extra expertise on.   My Centurion.

Greetings to one and all. Well, Kyle's awesome Roman creations inspired me, so now I hope to inspire him with one of my own modifications: A centurion helmet.   Re: cornice

(...) I look forward to seeing the window sill. It's funny, I build a lot of my buildings from the top down as well. A couple of them I built 'from the windows out'. (windows were made first.) Jonathan (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: My top 10

(...) Jeez, he posts an opinion, and gets attacked for it. I find that really sad. He wasn't trying to "narrow the talent" or any such thing, he was posting what his favorite mecha creations were. Never once did he say he didn't like any mecha that (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
