I've seen his great model, in fact his was the inspiration for much of the
design, and once I get far enough along to show off a bit more than a tangle
of wires on a big flat saucer you'll see quite a few similarities between
Ben's model and mine; then I found a few more designs which had even more
external detail but not as many cool moving parts... my goal has always been
to do one better just because ;) ;) (Btw, why are all Ben's images
improperly referenced so I had to manually type in the lowercase version of
each image name to get them to display? A quick global search and replace
for .JPG -> .jpg would make the pages much more easily viewable. :) I've
also seen the A-10 warthog model shown on this site for references to gimble
designs, but I need to design a fully working gimble that is litterally
4-studs by 4-studs by 6-studs max. Now THAT is a challenge ;) These
control surfaces and a viable lighting method are the big last stumbling
blocks that I really need some extra advice for thinking "outside the brick"
;) Thanks for the input.
