Re: New MOC: Z-22 Mobile Defence Platform

Mladen, long time to speak (hrmm, I mean write) Nice work on this latest mecha. You are slowly moving in the direction of elegence over power or utility (not that power or utility is bad, just noticed a slight design ethos evolution in your models). (...)   Re: New transforming space ship

Thanks Bryce. I'm glad you picked up on that. Besides for the folding body and swinging legs (both of which are in every transforming ship I know of) the rest was all original. Everything was carefully planned and drawn out before building. The real (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New transforming space ship

Thanks Stuart. I'm not a huge fan of transformers so the design challenge is what I was really after. v2.0 might be a while, or maybe not. Pat J (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New transforming space ship

Thanks Bobby. I'm not really a big fan of transformers either, but I really was interested in the challenge. I dont think it would be to hard to make some design changes to the current model to get the mecha mode to look better. I'm not really sure (...)   Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

(...) Sorry about that. The instructions are still under developement. The big problem is I'm a perfectionist and I want the instructions for this model to be flawless. Making instructions for this has gone from a good effort into an all out, full (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

(...) absolutely gigantic! My camera can do 1600 but I take my pictures at 1024. I like to take pictures at one level above what I'll actually use. If my final pictures are gonna be 640 then I take my pictures at 1024. This is a good way of handling (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Sun, I want a VF-15 Valkyrie. Or at least the instructions. When I went to your shop on brickbay, it wasn't there. I really want to build one myself. How do I get the instructions? John (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Minifig Voyager(ish) ship

Gary: The Rally Van with Boat is excellent. The detailing on the back of the boat is great. Those are 2x2x3 corner pieces in red right (from the old Blacksmith's shop)? The side by side windscreens on the boat are also a good use of a standard (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Monthly MOC: Raupenschlepper Ost

(...) Very spiffy. I love how you got the track wheels to be 1/2 stud offset. This unit fits in anywhere from WW II to arctic/antarctic expiditions of the 50's/60s (in different colors, say Orange?) or even on US ski hills of the 1980s (if they (...)
