  New N/C Machine First Cut

I made the first cut on my new bedmill. Not with out incident. The cutter fell out during the second letter, so the results are not stunning. I am still waiting for my rotation sensor. I am looking forward to using it on the X axis. Anyway have a (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Pat's new PodRacer...

(...) Pat, I had a peek in here after Todd posted his note on "Tell me what you think" links. I have not been very impressed with the "official" Episode 1 offerings from TLG, but do appreciate that the new parts are useful. I'm more of a Technic fan (...)   Re: Anybody ever built weapon replicas?

(...) Nothing that quite resembled a machine gun, rifle or Walther P-38, but I did make some Star Trek phasers one time, type I (palm-phaser), and type II (pistol-phaser). Needless to say, they only fired imaginarily. There was a thread about a (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Anybody ever built weapon replicas?

What I meant was a set or theme entirely devoted to something outright dangerous and hostile, like the military themes people would like to see but TLG will never put out. Back on topic, has anybody built hand weapons like pistols or rifles? Dave (25 years ago, 14-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Where can I buy Lego Tank Treads??

This is an answer I posted a few days ago regarding treads, I think it would answer your question also. I bought that set of tread links recently. N779938 - 36 x Conveyor belt links - $6.25 Actually I received 40 links! But I still think that's way (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

Where can I buy Lego Tank Treads??

I recently built this awesome lego WWII Tank, and for the treads, I used the rubber ones that came with Mindstorms, but I found out they wouldn;t work too great... After visiting some lego sites, I saw there were tank treads that were linked (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Scala Sets

(...) Darn, well, does anybody know what transparent colors these antennae were made in? I know of anti-freeze, red, yellow, and orange. Are there any others? Greg citrusx__@yahoo.com (URL) (25 years ago, 13-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Scala Sets

(...) Nope. There is a trans-purple wand though, in the accessory pack. Oh, and BTW, its Belville, not Scala. :) Jeff - "She attacked right in the middle of your monologue!" (25 years ago, 13-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Scala Sets

Hello, I have a question about some of the things included with the new fairytale-ish Scala sets: Do any of them contain four brick high trans purple or trans pink antennae? If they do, I may actually have to buy one(1) *shudder* Greg (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Anybody ever built weapon replicas?

(...) Not counting lightsabers, of course. Or cannons. Or revolvers. Or muskets. Or swords. Or crossbows. Or vaguely pointy-looking things on spacecraft. :) (25 years ago, 13-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Anybody ever built weapon replicas?

Being primarily a spacehead I've rarely strayed from collecting and building spaceships. Though recently I built my first Super Car #8880 and have begun to understand what all the fuss is about. What an awesome model. Can't wait to build the new (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)
