Where can I buy Lego Tank Treads??

I recently built this awesome lego WWII Tank, and for the treads, I used the
rubber ones that came with Mindstorms, but I found out they wouldn;t work too
great... After visiting some lego sites, I saw there were tank treads that
were linked together and mounted on lego gears. After looking arounf on where
to purchase them, I came up with no luck. I was wondering if anyone out there
knows of where to buy these treads (or be willing to sell 1 or 2 pairs) and
please tell me how to purchase them. Any help would be great!! Thanks!!!

| This is an answer I posted a few days ago regarding treads, I think it would answer your question also. I bought that set of tread links recently. N779938 - 36 x Conveyor belt links - $6.25 Actually I received 40 links! But I still think that's way (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)
