Re: Help id pieces and possible sets

(...) Hello Brian, I haven't taken a look at your page, but I think I know of a few pieces which pieces you mean. You can find these pieces, although under a different name in Tim Vattima's set inventory (Under www.lugnet.com/inv ): 1 x 2 brick with (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Help id pieces and possible sets

(...) There are also quite a few unique pieces, like the red 1x2 brick with the vertical groove and the 2 black 1x2 plates with attached horizontal grove and "teeth" on the bottom of the groove portion, the yellow&gray 2x2 turntable, and many of the (...)   Re: non- shooting shooting cannons?

(...) Yes, I've also heard about that, but I had not known that the first one was an urban legend. I had heard it from a magazine news show on TV. I think urban legends from another country can easily be spilled into non-serious news broadcasts of (...) (25 years ago, 10-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: non- shooting shooting cannons?

This is OT, sorry. As far as I know, that's actually an urban legend. A very popular one though. But for a more recent and confirmed bad lawsuit story, how about the woman who won a huge amount of money because she spilled her coffee from McDonald's (...)   Re: Solar Power & LEGO

Not a direct question. In general. Each photo cell will give a certain amount of voltage and current capability. If a cell is rated at .5 volts, that is generally under very well lit/bright conditions, which are unusual. It also assumes the panel is (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

Help id pieces and possible sets

I've built several sets from a second hand LEGO purchase, but I'm left with a pile of parts that are begging to be assembled into sets unknown. There are quite a few pieces here that *should* be easy to identify what sets they belong to given the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: non- shooting shooting cannons?

(...) It seems likely, I've got a bunch of these also, and it seems unlikely that every cannon which looks like a shooting cannon, that I've got from an auction lot, would be broken. (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Solar Power & LEGO

Anybody done it? I would like to incorporate solar power into lEGO and perhaps LEGO robotics. In fact, I have never used solar power (SP) for anything. I have heard that the TAMAYKO (sp?) plastic model kit from Japan has a good solar panel but it (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)
