Re: Engine 71 - New Fire Truck

(...) great! Part of the fun is being inventive with existing pieces. And those shoelaces (if that's what they are) make great fire hoses! Maggie C. (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

Engine 71 - New Fire Truck

Anyone familiar with some of my recent posts to LUGNET will know that I usually gripe and complain about what I don't like about LEGO these days. Well, even I was getting sick of listening to myself. So I decided to do something about it; something (...) (23 years ago, 13-Nov-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  Re: FDNY--3rd street station

(...) Thanks! Thats a great plus to my project of building an older fire hall, with the sand red never the less... It looks great! Josh (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: Little Blue Bot

Wow! Very cool Eric! I like all the articulation you packed into the mecha. The exposed Technic parts look great as detail too. Heh, and you even got a mini-fig in there! Neat-O! ;-D Can't wait to see more stuff from you; I know I'll be amazed. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Next MAU: JJMAU

Greetings to one and all. The Administration, thrilled by the success of the first MAU for the Carona, contracted Centrite Caronautics to build them a special ops MAU. The product: The JJMAU, or Jump Jet Mobile Armor Unit. A few pictures from the (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

SNOT boating (was: Re: USS Fletcher for public display)

(...) I've (...) So, wait--you're building ribs and plating between them? I feel for you--that seems like it would be really difficult in brick. I had to build square and then plate the outside contours. My heart goes out to you! However, if it's (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Little Blue Bot

(...) Oh, yeah, I'm in! I must echo the Grand Admiral's comment-- your concept of 'little' is massive! I wonder if the LBBs have _L_LBBs to help them out with finding 1x1 plates and tiles..... And to top it off, the design is very pleasing indeed. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Little Blue Bot

(...) I find it ironic that your "little" blue bot is as large as some of my larger mecha. :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: FDNY--3rd street station

(...) Thanks! I was going to put flowers & a flag with the candles but couldn't find them. The garage doors are actually made from tiles--they are functional as well. I will be there on Wednesday & hope you can make it so we can meet. Looks like (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: FDNY--3rd street station

(...) A great building Jonathan. I really liked the attention to deal. The blocks on the garage doors are cool. The candles are a nice detail. You might want to put some flowers with the candles.   FDNY--3rd street station

Hello, I have attempted to re-create the FDNY fire house located on 3rd street between the Bowery & 4th avenues in NYC. I am pleased with the results. If you get a moment please take a look and as always LMKWYT. (URL) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

Re: USS Fletcher for public display

(...) Hey, that reminds me ... Actually, I've been working on frame-by-frame construction for my S-boat. I've completed the 20 main ribs, and am in the process of flushing out the contours between them. It's actually pretty satisfying, given that (...)   Re: removing a Minnie head

(...) I tried it also, but I didn't succeed either. It is quite easy to remove the legs from Mickey, the black pin has to be pushed out and the legs are separated from the body. Looking inside the body it looks like the arms can't be removed. It (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.fabuland)

  Little Blue Bot

Hi all, I have so much Lego that I had to build some little minions to help me keep track of all the parts and peices I have. These Litte Blue Bots come in handy when your lair is over flowing with unsorted Lego. The LBB's gaurd and sort your lego (...) (23 years ago, 12-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
