  Re: mini Fabfigs & Elvis

(...) I know one of the Fabuland heads you sacrificed was already busted, did you find some more busted ones, or did you sacrifice some of your more "floppy" heads? I'm really considering doing a few of these mods. Frank (23 years ago, 11-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: My next mecha...

(...) Cool! It has a nice sleek look to it, as if it could run at amazing speed, the legs are very well designed, pretty cool idea, I'd hate to be on the wrong end of that "mecha rush" ;-) Keep it up! -Geordan- (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  I did it!

Thanks for the tips, Fiddled around in Image composer and came up with this, I used the pick points and cut thing, it didn't take too long, but everytime I'd get what I wanted with the magic wand, and I'd click cutout, it wouldn't cut out, just go (...)   Re: USS Fletcher for public display

(...) Thank you Lindsay for taking kind interest in my model. To hear experienced Logo fans comment on your creations is always something extra. I agree that the forward hull is a weak part of my model. I will try to rebuild it either by SNOT and (...) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: P-40 Warhawk [revisited]

(...) ADDENDUM. I also decided to make a small diorama of what inspired me to start making a WW2 aircraft in the first place. Here is the downed B-17 pilot, trapped on an island in the Pacific, after a strange green asteroid hit his Flying (...) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  P-40 Warhawk [revisited]

I come to you with my P-40 Warhawk MK II. I made some minor changes to details, rebuilt the tail fins, and most importantly, I have decently sized pictures of the model. The images should load MUCH faster for you DSL users. The 500 lb. bomb on the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Two new WW2 Tank MOC's

Brown wheels on the Tiger? Now that's good idea! Most of my brown wheels went out in Blacksmith Shops and Windmill kits, but I suppose I could seek out some more. Both tanks are actually working prototypes for a new line of tank kits to replace the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Two new WW2 Tank MOC's

(...) I saw these while perusing Brickmania a few weeks ago, IIRC, but I figured you'd already announced. I defintely remember the T-34/85. (...) which you've handled nicely given the medium. That Christie suspension is nice too, and the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: USS Fletcher for public display

(...) Hi, Demanding Dave! ;) Really, I plan out the curve on the carpet, and build to match. But there's also some smoothing involved, making sure that there's some kind of relationship between the angle and the rate of change. I'm hoping to get (...)   Re: Japan Miniland at Billund (not my pics)

(...) Wow...thanks for posting the link....those works are beautiful...sigh...kinda leaves you wanting to have the inventory of plates necesary for even one of those roofs doesn't it ? (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.build)

Re: Two new WW2 Tank MOC's

Daniel, Wow! so much detail! those are so cool! The opening hatch on the back of the T-34 is just too cool, plus the engine detail makes it even cooler! Those look really great Daniel, I look forward to more of your work! -Geordan- (...) ___...___ (...) (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: USS Fletcher for public display

(...) Hi George Glad you like the model. The scale 1:125 is of course a bit unusual in the modelling world. But I chose to model in this 1 stud to 1 meter scale of several practical reasons. - it is easy to measure and transfer to the Lego stud (...) (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Two new WW2 Tank MOC's

WOW! These two tanks are terrific Daniel! The T-34/85 is awesome; one of the best I've seen. The Tiger I is great too. Anyways, hope to see more stuff from you! (...) (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: What are SNOT and RATTpieces?

I didn't see SNOT or RATTS. I haven't been able to figure out what these are. Not that I'll probably want them if the have a dubious name. (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.build)

  Contest

Hey, All- Anyone interested in doing a building contest? I built a new mecha about 13 in tall, but I can't think of a good gun! The rules are this- Anyone can enter (duh!)
