  Re: Minifig Cryo Chamber

(...) Pretty cool. If the unit is against the wall, you could actually build it into the wall, to save a bit of floor space. With the wall extended by one stud past the black frame, you'd still get a bit of white sticking out. I like using the (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minifig Cryo Chamber

(...) <snip> (...) Hmm. I haven't seen the ldraw pic yet, not until I get home. Kinda busy this weekend too. But FWIW, if you want a really small window, and don't want to use those canopies (cuz you might want more ships) try using one of those car (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minifig Cryo Chamber

(...) Since I don't have any of the trans cylinder halves, I trying out Tom's suggestions. I was reluctant to go with it because of the room it eats up. (Space travel is expensive, you know). I'm posting a version of the chamber in the cad.dat.ideas (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minifig Cryo Chamber

(...) Hehe. Ahh... blinking lights... Enya... zzz.. I was thinking the same thing. Also the 4x6x2? older style space canopies work well, if you're not using them. But any full-sized canopy should do it. And IIRC you won't need to fold their legs. (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minifig Cryo Chamber

(...) About six ice cubes and a paper cup works pretty well for short trips. For longer trips, I take two Explorien-style clear blue half-cylinder pieces to form a 4x4 hollow canister which a minifig can squeeze into with its leg folded. I put 1x4 (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Minifig Cryo Chamber

I am trying to build a compact minifig cryo chamber for those deep space treks. Does anyone have some ideas they would be willing to share? Duane (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: ¡Legopalooza!

(...) I accidentally wiped out the first version <GRRRRRR!> so bear with me if I seem a bit terse :) SPEAKER BASE The speaker base can occupy as little as 5x6, but I used a 6x6 plate. top view ___...___ |o_o_o_o_o_o| |o o o o o o| <- 2x6 plate on (...) (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Curved walls

(...) Great stuff!!! And where did you get all those cylinders? We always knew you were twisted. Now its been confirmed! :') (25 years ago, 20-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Curved walls

All I can say is ingeniously, unbelievably, beautiful. DJ Zorn Eric Brok wrote in message ... :Added pics on curved walls to LEGO on my mind. : :(URL) from menu: Buildings: Curved walls : : : :Eric Brok :Visit LEGO ON MY MIND: :(URL) Control (...) (25 years ago, 20-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: ¡Legopalooza!

(...) Yes. Are you building one? The pix aren't very clear, but I can tell you every minifig accessory I used, how to make microphone stands, the loudspeakers, etc. I've still got the concert mostly together. -Tom McD. when replying, wail on the (...) (25 years ago, 20-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: 5151 Steep Sloped Bricks (45 deg)

(...) Yep. Most of my old red roof bricks have warped, especially the 2x4x2 ones, they give a sort of scalloped efffect to the edge of a roof <g>. (...) Could be. At this point it's hard to remember, but I don't think we bought any roof bricks (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: 5151 Steep Sloped Bricks (45 deg)

(...) Kevin, The earlier pieces that you describe (a hint of orange in the red color) are made of Cellulose Acetate. That was the plastic that LEGO used in the early years. Unfortunately it has a tendancy to warp. I have many examples of early LEGO (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Steerable town rig

(...) Doesn't matter. Ed Boxer won more than once for different sections of his site and deserved it each time. Gary Istok won for stuff he gave me that's on MY site. So I think an award specifically for this page is just fine and justifiable. (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, lugnet.publish)

  Brickenplate webpage

I recently bought a digital camera and have finally updated by webpage, Brickenplate. It's still a pretty small site, but I hope to be adding a lot more now that I have a camera. The "Brickenplate Tour" features town-themed MOCs and the "Scrapbook" (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  RE: Curved walls

Yes, but I did a little calculation and figure I will need: 1x3 Brick 215 White 1x1 Cylinder 215 White 1x3 Brick 143 Blue 1x1 Cylinder 143 Blue to do a decent 28 stud high cylinder for an R2-D2 "body". I guess I will watch for the next Auczilla to (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Tom McDonald: (...) Cool man! Any chance some of those bands (no, no, not the Timmys) can be "hired" for the opening of a new theatre? Play well, Jacob ---...--- -- E-mail: sparre@cats.nbi.dk -- -- Web...: <URL:(URL) -- ---...--- (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Steerable town rig

(...) I have made proper instruction, mostly in TLG style, but a bit more "compressed" for a bike at (URL) I found the work to be a bit tedious. So this time I thought: "People don't need all these steps, and it saves me a lot of work (as well as (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, lugnet.publish)
