About six ice cubes and a paper cup works pretty well for short trips.

For longer trips, I take two Explorien-style clear blue half-cylinder pieces
to form a 4x4 hollow canister which a minifig can squeeze into with its leg
folded.  I put 1x4 -> 2x2 hinge plates on the top and bottom to allow easy
clamshell-style access.  VIP freezer compartments get a 2x2 slope with a
computer pettern attached to the outside -- the blinking lights lull the
VIPs to sleep.

Cheers,

(...) Hehe. Ahh... blinking lights... Enya... zzz.. I was thinking the same thing. Also the 4x6x2? older style space canopies work well, if you're not using them. But any full-sized canopy should do it. And IIRC you won't need to fold their legs. (...) (26 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.build)
