Any chance some of those bands (no, no, not the Timmys) can
be "hired" for the opening of a new theatre?

Yes. Are you building one?

Yes (only finished minor parts until now though).

The pix aren't very clear, but I can tell you every
minifig accessory I used, how to make microphone stands, the loudspeakers,
etc. I've still got the concert mostly together.

I would appreciate that.

I accidentally wiped out the first version <GRRRRRR!> so bear with me if I
seem a bit terse :)

SPEAKER BASE
The speaker base can occupy as little as 5x6, but I used a 6x6 plate.

  top view
___________
|o_o_o_o_o_o|
|o o o o o o| <- 2x6 plate on top of 6x6 plate
|o_o_o_o_o_o|
| |o o o o| | <- 1x2 tile on each side
|_|o o o o|_|
|(=o=o=o=o=)| <- 1x6 bar w/ studs; or any other 1x6 config that's over
-----------          a plate high that looks good to you

SPEAKER BACK
The back is nothing more than 10 2x6 bricks stacked. Put them on the
2x6 plate on the base.

SPEAKER FRONT
I don't have inverted arch pieces, so I had to improvise. Each speaker
cabinet has two speakers. Around a 4x4 radar dish (speaker cone) are
two opposing 2x6x2 arch bricks connected together by two technic pins.
Since each speaker cabinet has two speakers, I've connected the arches
with 2x12's on each side.

   front (A)         back (B)     top (C)
_____   _____    _____   _____    _____   _____
||    |=|    ||  ||    |=|    ||  ||____|=|____||  ^ forward

||  \     /  ||  ||  \|___|/  ||
||   \   /   ||  ||   \   /   ||
||____|=|____||  ||____|=|____||

B and C above have a 2x8 plate that connects the two speaker cones from
sliding out. The studs on the radar dishes end up being 7 studs apart,
so I use the circlular sockets on the underside of the 2x8 plate. Then
if you haven't done so already, push the arch pieces toward each other
so that the speaker cones are nice and snug inside the arches. Put the
speaker front(s) on the base resting on the tiles.

SPEAKER TOP
While the base keeps the front from moving forward, the top which keeps
the front from moving up, also keeps the front from moving side to
side. To accomplish this, the top, a 4x6 plate, has 2 1x2 single-stud
plates mounted on its underside.

With the speaker front in its place, snap the top onto the stack of back
pieces.

Your speakers should be done!

If you want I'll do microphones and a drumkit next time. Might even get around
to stagelights. But I'm sure folks could figure those out.
