  New MOC and Website

I started building with Lego again in december 2000 and around that time I "discovered" the online Lego community (LUGNET, Brickshelf, etc). The past 7 months I just have been reading here and didn't post at all. So this is my first post. In the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Shrike Interceptor

(...) Thanks! (...) Although I didn't use any pictures while building, semi-concious inspiration came from the Grumman X-29[1] and Grumman F-14 Tomcat[2]. --Bram 1) (2 URLs) Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) up to a child's playing? Also, what's the interior like? I can't really see inside it very well. I've got a challenge for you: BART (San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit). Note: it's not standard gauge - you need to place the rails farther (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Shrike Interceptor

(...) Great fianlly meeting your there as well. Actually I hadn't noticed the wedge slopes (since I thought it was orange until I read your reply to the color question). Glad you're finding them useful. (...) That's what I assumed. (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) intakes are so cool! Nice use of the bionicle feet\heads. The fold back wings are nice too. It looks like it was designed after one of the earlier Mig fighter craft, the name escapes me at the moment. But the wings on that craft swept forward (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Shrike Interceptor

(...) Again, I think that a group dedicated to military, and things of such, ie. aircraft and battleships would be very appropriate for this forum, any support or ideas? I posted this idea to admin awhile ago, but I didn't get any replies. -Geordan- (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Shrike Interceptor

(...) It's not a space craft. It's just a futuristic jet. I posted to .space because many of the space folk are interested in this genre of creations as well, and there is no specific "air" group. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update: Another Good Day for Mecha

(...) Did you read my post that I sent the other day, Mark? The game that I was referring to was a game that is known as Darius Twin, at least that was the only Darius game that was released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment system. The vehicle (...) (...) reminiscent of a F-15 Eagle or a F-16 Tomcat. If this was going to be an air craft, then I would say that it is a nice piece of art but this is a design that seems to me, at least in my opinion, that does not work with the general concept of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Shrike Interceptor

(...) Thanks, Ed! Nice meeting you at Brickfest, BTW. (Did you notice your red wedge slopes? Those parts, along with the canopy, bionicle heads/feet, and wings are what inspired me to build the jet) (...) back. I agree. But since LEGO landing gear (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)
