  Re: New Mecha: Kierbis

(...) I think you're reading a little too much into the color :) After all, I'm from Ohio, so I'm a Buckeyes fan (when I do much of anything with college sports). However, both the Browns and Bengals use orange in their uniforms, and I am a fan of (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: Kierbis

(...) I do not think that sand green is available in bulk packs but I do know that you can order a Statue of Liberty LEGO set that has hundreds of these sand green LEGO pieces and a few gray and yellow pieces as well so you could probably build a (...)   Re: New Mecha: Kierbis

(...) I never argued that Adrain could not accomplish a uniquely designed mecha. I guess I should have never brought annoying college football arguements into this place but I do like the design of the mecha. I just wish that you could design more (...)   Re: Himeji Castle MOC (soon to be at Brickfest 2001)

(...) Thanks Greg. I plumb forgot to mention that this particular Himeji Castle MOC takes at least 4 FNFs (6093s) since it uses 40 ninja rock slopes. I like the double height rock slopes because it more realistically represents the scale of the (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.loc.jp)

(...) KK - absolutely brilliant! I stumbled across your pictures this afternoon on Brickshelf while uploading some of my own and found them to be entertaining and educational (as your work has been in the past).   Himeji Castle MOC (soon to be at Brickfest 2001)

Decided to release Himeji Castle today instead the day before Brickfest 2001. What can I say ? It was always the castle that I wanted to build with Lego but never could do it justice till now. I am glad I took my time (about 3 months and many (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.loc.jp) !!

  Re: A difficult task...

(...) It all depend how big your collection is. If you do not know what to do, go and read this (again). (URL) will find out, that sorting your collection is a neverending process. Regards, Ben (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.storage)

  Re: A difficult task...

(...) I sorted by color for many years, but I don't think it's a good idea. I recently switched to sorting by type of element, and find it to be much more useful. The main problems with sorting by color are: 1. It's hard to find the right element (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jul-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.storage)

Re: The Great Redini Was Correct!

(...) There were opaque orange colors around, even before 1998, but not in the popular themes like town, space, castle or technic, but in Belville, Duplo and Scala. Selçuk (23 years ago, 11-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

Lindsay & All, (...) It was me, I am guilty, take me to the gallows! ; ) (...) It is a stunning way to do it, I would love to to that, it is great! Frankly, using that many slopes in a 32 stud wide tank, ugh! Not to mention i would need a (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jul-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Brickfest teaser - Ocelot

  Re: A difficult task...

(...) It's all a matter of choice. Your choice. I've found that as my collection expands, my sub-catagorization has grown too. Exponentially. I sort brick out first. Some do it by color, some by size. I do color. I used to have regular brick and (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jul-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.storage)

  Fuel Tank / Barbette

Hi everyone, I recall someone on .trains or .michlug oy veying over the problems in building decently "round" fuel tanks.
