  Re: Anago Battle Armor

(...) I built something similar years ago... well, similar in that it used minifig leg articulation. I still have it assembled, and have been meaning to get better pictures of it for a while, but I entered it in The Construction Site's first (...)   Re: Anago Battle Armor

Thanks Bryan! That was my intent, to use make a hardsuit that could really, actually be worn by an entire mini-fig. (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  new site with tips/tricks/tutorials

hello all, i've put up a lego website @ (URL) there is a section called "Aesthetics" wherein i will be putting up sort of 'tutorials', more like 'tips and tricks' all related to aesthetics, i.e. how to make yer stuff look cool. all of the ideas are (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: The high cost of bulk brick building

(...) Well the prices are a bit over the top especially when you compare the prices to the 3033 Bulk Tub we can get in North America or other buckets. Sure you can get parts cheaper second hand but those chanels are not reliable. The one advantage (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.build)

  Re: new models

Thank you, Mladen! I'm glad to hear it when people like my models. In case anybody was wondering Aoi means blue and Akai means red... -John (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Arach Mecha

(...) Great model. Many of the spider mecha looked "forced" and fragile. Yours is very natural looking. It also looks very sturdy. The whole thing looks complete...I mean without any rough areas that look like they still need work. The spider mine (...)   Re: Back to the Future DeLorean

Great work Bram! I'd love to see this thing in person some time (the Diablo too) I'm hoping we can get together some time in the near future at Troy's place and have another buildathon. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Anago Battle Armor

(...) By far the coolest minifig armour that I've seen. As for those Stormtrooper ball socket things...just cut the top off one of the useless throwbot throwing arms (I believe this was Dave Johann's idea). Bryce (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: The high cost of bulk brick building

(...) It's not *too* bad. The going rate on Ebay for standard colors is roughly $8-12 per 500 bricks. Other less standard colors (dark grey, tan, etc). And if you can find somebody that wants to get rid of 1, 2, maybe even 3,000 bricks it can be a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: The high cost of bulk brick building

For example: a city block is say 8 buildings long, so they are right next to each other, so those sides that are not exposed, don't need windows & (...)
