Two great tastes that taste great together —Adrian Drake
I tried to avoid this. Really, I did. But everybody kept making really cool MOC's using the concept, and in a fit of creativity, I caved. At least I kept it in my Turbocycle family. Well, enough babbling, the PodCycle's on the ground page. Cheers (...) (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space)

(...) I love it! Nice, clean lines, simple design, very aesthetically pleasing. I especially like the cooling vanes (I'm assuming that's what they are) above the rear half. Great bike! (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Two great tastes that taste great together —Adrian Drake
(...) It turned out surprisingly greeblie-free for something I'd have built. Staying to the constraints of the pod design sort of does that to you. As for the things on the back, they are what they are. I suppose they look like cooling vanes, so (...) (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)

Ah! The tendrills of the podfrenzy have breached the defenses of Drake Galactic Keep! And with beautiful results...looks amazing Adrian. A few years back, I was reading an article about bike 'speed gangs' in Japan. I was expecting sleek, (...) (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Makes it sounds like a disease. Oh no, I've got poditis! (...) I'd love to see pictures of these bikes. I'd bet they'd be great inspirations for my TurboCycle series. When I was building this model, I had an expanse of emptiness on the top of (...) (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)

And there is no cure but for more pods! The phenomenon, I believe, is called Bosozoku. A quick search found one site with some toned down versions, but still you get the idea of the philosophy of 'the crazier the better'. Check out the galleries (...)    (...) Hey, its a trend. I mean you can never get enough pods, right? ; ) (...) Great job Adrian, yet 1 more pod to add to the family. Great color combo of green and gray. BTW, Do you actually run a league or is it just an excuse to build cool bikes? (...) (22 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Two great tastes that taste great together —Adrian Drake
(...) Well, if there were so many that you were literally drowning in them, you'd probably have too many :) (...) I've used the green and gray color combo a few times before, it seems to work very well. As for the Turbocycle League, it's just an (...) (22 years ago, 28-Sep-02, to lugnet.space)
