| | | Hi all, this is just to inform you that we had an unplanned server outage today (July 2nd, 2008), taking LUGNET offline from 11:30 to 15:30 GMT. The primary cause was a blown power supply with the main server, which subsequently burned some parts of (...) (16 years ago, 2-Jul-08, to lugnet.announce)

| | | | I am afraid I have to announce another downtime for tomorrow (July 3rd, 2008) between 7:00 and 12:00 GMT. It appears that one of the disks on our RAID has gone faulty and just to make sure we don't run into any data losses, I have requested the (...) (16 years ago, 2-Jul-08, to lugnet.admin.general)

| | | | In order to keep you all updated: We have completed the RAID rebuild and everything is back to nominal. I have also applied some long-awaited optimizations to the backup process, which will hopefully level out the load peaks we observed around (...) (16 years ago, 3-Jul-08, to lugnet.admin.general)
