I am afraid I have to announce another downtime for tomorrow (July 3rd, 2008)
between 7:00 and 12:00 GMT. It appears that one of the disks on our RAID has
gone faulty and just to make sure we don't run into any data losses, I have
requested the drive to be replaced and the remaining hardware to be thoroughly
tested.
Of course I hope that the maintenance will be finished quickly, so the downtime
announcement should be considered a fairly worst-case assumption.
Hope all will be well afterwards.

| Hi all, this is just to inform you that we had an unplanned server outage today (July 2nd, 2008), taking LUGNET offline from 11:30 to 15:30 GMT. The primary cause was a blown power supply with the main server, which subsequently burned some parts of (...) (16 years ago, 2-Jul-08, to lugnet.announce)
