I'm happy to be the first to say congratulations to all of those who were
selected and to all of those who put forth their name and offered their time!

It looks like the new system of choosing Ambassadors has worked out very well.
I see a few countries that I haven't seen before, and it looks like their is a
good distribution of interests between the themes of building.

Congratulations!
Scott

I want to point out that I screwed up the FTX on the first post and that

is also going to be a part of the program. Congrats Andrew! Thanks for the kind words concerning the new process Scott. We’re truly aiming to make the program allow more people to be involved and to allow more people to feel represented. We got so many good nominations that it was definately hard to narrow it down.

Better late than never. ;-) I know most of you probably haven’t heard of me too much, but I hope to work to change that during my tenure as an Ambassador.

Congratulations to everyone else, I look forward to working with you and the rest of the community!

Congratulations LEGO Ambassadors!

I know several of you thru EMAIL discussions.

If any of you want to know the background history of LEGO back to 1949, please contact me at istokg@earthlink.net. (don’t worry about my spamblocker!)

I might have something you would be interested in. :-)

My good friend Fernando Correia in Portugal knows exactly what I’m talking about! :-)

Good Luck to all of you!!

Thanks :)  Also looking forward to it!  And, like Sir Tim, I too hope I will
be useful to the other not mentioned communities as well, in which I've been
an active (or, at least up to now, passive) member.

Cheers,
Matija

I´m better known as copmike in the community. I´d like to congratulate all the new ambassadors and encourage the ones that didn´t make it this time to try again next cycle. I´m sure the future will be great for all AFOL´s and that we together with LEGO will make great things happen!

Hi Gary,

thanks for the kind words!

I am in fact very excited with this appointment and look forward to make a good job representing the Portuguese LEGO community in particular and others in general.

Also congratulations for all the other LA Program appointed members, and wishes of a good team work.

Best regards, Fernando

Many??

For example in our last event there were only two members that belong to both communities. You are ignoring all others who are active in 0937Community, who build a lot, who attend our events?

In total, it doesn’t even reach two full hands the active members belonging to both...

I too am at a loss about what this CTOP means:

NTRAFORARF

If you could spare the time and wish to not make it public, I sure would appreciate it if you’d fire off an email to me. My curiosity level would kill a cat in nanoseconds.

Despite being the CTOP List Administrator, this one has me stumped to.

I’m thinking it could be something like Not That Representing A Forum Or Region.....

Also, there is the possibility that this is the first recorded ATOP (Anticommunitarian Turn Of Phrase).
