  Bricksburg Hotel

Well I am proud to announce the unveiling of my newest building, the Bricksburg Hotel. Standing 63 bricks high, 96 wide, and 32 deep, it is one of my largest buildings to date. It also is my entry in the Internation System Creativity Contest. (URL) (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.town, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.contests) !

(...) Hi Jason, This url didn't work for me, but I saw your hotel on Brickshelf. I like everything but the colors used. (I have this thing against blue, yellow & green buildings....but thats me). (...) The yellow works for me, but not with blue. Brown might have worked better for the trim color. (...) It's definitely an impressive edifice. I love the HVAC units on the roof, too. --Bill. (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: Bricksburg Hotel

(...) Hmm, Brown. I didn't even consider brown as an option. I wonder what brown and yellow look like together. Well, I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have had enough brown to do this building. (...) I like those units too. It is a design that I have (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: Bricksburg Hotel

(...) Hi Jason, I just wanna say I love your hotel. It looks very nice, I'd love to see it in its surroundings for a sense of scale (is it really that scary for the folks from your city? :-) Does the Hotel have an interior? I mean, rooms and such? (...) Thanks. (...) Well, that is very true. It would benefit from more windows. Great job on the hotel, Jason. A stately building. Nice design. And I, for one, like the color scheme - it's LEGO, what do people want? @8^) Best of luck in the contest. -The Rev. Brendan Powell Smith (23 years ago, 7-Dec-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: Bricksburg Hotel

(...) Thanks. I think with all the new colors, people are looking for building with a more realistic tone to them. I imagine that a building like this in real life might look awfully strange with it's current color scheme. -Jason +---...---+ Jason (...) (23 years ago, 7-Dec-01, to lugnet.town)
