We need Hats! (was Re: LUGNET logo)

Todd, Any possibility you'll be making a LUGNET hat or lapel pin? I'm sure I bump into more r.t.l folks at the store than I realize. (I think this was discussed on r.t.l at one time, and six months later people were still debating whether there (...) (26 years ago, 10-Oct-98, to lugnet.announce)

  Hi everyone-Test

Hi everyone! This is my first post to the new Lugnet group, and I want to make sure it is working. (26 years ago, 9-Oct-98, to lugnet.announce)

  Re: Lugnet carrying rec.toys.lego?

(...) I was thinking more of the social impacts. Would this kind of access open some form of abuse (internal or external) which is best kept off of lugnet? Cheers, - Sproat (26 years ago, 8-Oct-98, to lugnet.announce)

  LUGnet is evil.

I'd just like to announce that LUGnet is pure evil. Back in the old days, a week or so ago, I only checked into RTL once or twice a day. Now.... If it weren't for multitasking, I'd get nothing done. (26 years ago, 7-Oct-98, to lugnet.announce)

  Re: ------( Welcome to lugnet.announce )------

(...) Just to be 100% clear, auction announcements and updates belong in lugnet.market.auction and not in this group. --Todd (26 years ago, 7-Oct-98, to lugnet.announce)

  Re: Lugnet carrying rec.toys.lego?

(...) Which hit would that be? RTL shouldn't add much load. I'd appreciate this too. I've been meaning to set up a caching server which would grab all groups I wanna read, but I've not gotten around to it yet.... and this would save me the trouble. (...)   Lugnet carrying rec.toys.lego?

Todd, Would there be any benefit to have the lugnet server carry traffic for the rec.toys.lego newsgroup? Would there be any detrimental effect, besides the obvious hit to server time? Cheers, - Sproat (26 years ago, 6-Oct-98, to lugnet.announce)
