I have to agree with you on the old Prof. They at least changed Pippin's
outfit from one theme to the next. I know it is partly due to the context of
following one set of adventurers from site to site, but my god I must have 30
Johnny Thunder's now, not to mention a platoon of Slyboots, Dr. Kilroys, Baron
von Barons etc. The only figures that might be ok in large numbers are the
Rudy Villano and Gabarro the sailor and those only show up in a few of the
sets. Why not include some generic mummies (not like Ho Tep), more
skeletons, more natives (is Achu the ONLY one?), or at least more named
characters. I want to see some shirtless turban wearing workers in the
Egyptian sets, after all these are supposedly modelled after Indiana Jones
films. How about the rest of you? Any ideas of your own? How about mine?

| (...) YES! I CAN'T STAND HAVING SO MANY JOHNNY THUNDERS! I *wouldn't* mind if his torso was a little more standard, since it could be used in a lot of places, but he's got a pistol right there! | (...) Lego has been poor at giving us the masses of common people needed to offset the special ones. I have 20 Witch figures. 15 Cap'n Redbeards. You can only mix and match so much. I've taken to buying heads, torsos, and other bits outside my usual (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)
