  WWII mini-figs and indiana jones

Mimicking Indiana Jones and making WWII mini-figs out of adventurers is an awesome idea! I bet that TLG based the theme on Indiana Jones and won't admit it. I made some of my own Indiana Jones models if you want to see. I have the WWI tank from the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Velociraptor

Why can't you get one with Lost World sets? It would be really cool. (24 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Hitler minifig (Adventurers)

Thank you. (...) I am German (living in Canada since I was 6) and was teased relentlessly in public school because of my heritage. It's a shame people cannot see the difference between Germans and Nazis. Additionally, my father was in the Luftwaffe (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Hitler minifig (Adventurers)

(...) Why not? (...) I'd be more concerned about that to be honest. Nazi's aren't German, although some Nazi's were German. It's an important difference, and one I'd imagine at least some German people would have feelings about. (...) As long as a (...)   Re: Hitler minifig (Adventurers)

(...) Yeah: don't. Though *I* don't care if you do make these minifigs, please don't publicize them on LUGNET, and if you do, at least flatly call them "German." This is a rather touchy subject that I personally don't think should be brought up. (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Hitler minifig (Adventurers)

Where online can one find historical info?

Hi all I just decided I liked Adventurers a week ago and have decided to attempt to make an historical dig and train befitting the era. Does anyone know where I could find pictures of this sort of thing online? Cheers Tim (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Idea for new theme

(...) I think this would be excellent also! Given the specialized head gear, pharoah figs, and graphics of the Egyptian adventurer sets, I actually thought that Lego Castle was going to go retro and do a ancient egyptian theme...So far I have been (...)   Re: Idea for new theme

(...) This is a GREAT idea! I can imagine other ancient cultures as well, but Egyptian would easily be my favourite. -- David Schilling (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Idea for new theme

Aside from the action possibilities, an 'Ancient Egypt' theme would make Ancient something besides a fan-created theme. Yes, if you aren't aware, check out (URL) nobody was happy enough with their pyramid to put it in there. (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Idea for new theme

(...) OOOOHHH!! James I like the way you think!!. Now there's a theme with room for expansion. Nile barges, pyramids with secret openings, mummies that you can unwrap and rewrap. I hope Lego is paying attention. (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Idea for new theme

I think that lego should releise a new theme involving egypt without the adventurers. The theme could have high preists and egyptian queens. it would have lots of new buildings. Then you could take the hats off the minifigs and put them on (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

Re: What lies ahead for Adventurers?

(...) You do realize that the possibilities are endless. The Adventurer's theme could be a complete replacement for Time Twisters, (TT). They could revive Islanders, and Pirate/Divers, Castle, and Wild West. It definately would be great if they (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  What lies ahead for Adventurers?

Hi, The title says it all. Maybe some new adventurers themes could be outback, Mt. everest(yeti figs!), greek/roman ruins, castle ruins, american indian, lost civilzations, mythical civilizations, persian lego(sultan figs!) . Let me know what you (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.adventurers)
