Re: By Popular Demand (Was: Re: Is that Harry?)

(...) Hrmmm...well, I like the *head*. I could do without the protruding beer gut, though. Maybe the NLNLF will want a "white trash" guy in her town...? J (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: By Popular Demand (Was: Re: Is that Harry?)

(...) Wow, FF really is a tough babe! The meeker among us would be mortified to discover we had been walking around with our lip liner ten shades darker than our lipstick and a shirt which refuses to stay closed in front. (But we'd secretly like to (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)

Re: By Popular Demand (Was: Re: Is that Harry?)

By Popular Demand (Was: Re: Is that Harry?)

(...) You be the judge: (URL) is a close-up shot of Gail in pith helmet, together with Femme Fatale. She comes in Island Hopper with a flight cap a la Harry Cane/Baron. Our bush guide is also here: (URL) left his "bush hat" (brown, just like Johnny (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)

  Re: Is that Harry?

(...) From the brickset picture of the island set (the biggest one) it sure seems like she sticked with the jungle outfit. I guess wardrobes are getting expensive these days ;-) -Shiri (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Is that Harry?

(...) It's not Rudo Villano from the Jungle sets? Another new minifig? Any chance of a picture? 8) Also, what's Gail wearing these days? Does she get another change of clothes? J (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Is that Harry?

(...) No, and yes. The character with the Baron is as-yet-unnamed, but he appears to be either an Afrikaner or Australian guide--could be either, since all of these "lost islands of the dinosaurs" are in the South Seas somewhere. No, Harry hasn't (...) (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Is that Harry?

Hi! Is that Harry Cane in the All-Terrain Trapper next to the Baron? Also, did the All-Terrain Trapper set come with a new catalog? Adrick (25 years ago, 24-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: New Characters for Dino Island?

(...) AHA! I *thought* so! :-D Two reasons: 1) The "mystery" minifig depicted in the really tiny photos had *RED* legs. 2) Gail is the only "core" Adventurers minifig whose torso design changed from Egyptian to Amazon. Thanks for the new intel! :-D (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: New Set Availability at US S@H

(...) Yes--the design of the actual models is pretty good (although I do have issues with the stegosaur's plates being *raised*--they probably laid pretty flat, if John McLoughlin is correct--and the Triceratops frill not being attached to the (...)   Re: New Set Availability at US S@H

(...) Ooh, I'd love to hear it:-) Since I haven't gotten the actual dinos for closer examination yet, I'll hold my nits to two. First, kudos to TLC for placing the shoulder girdle *under* the ribcages of the tricerablocks and the stlegosaurs. With (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: New Set Availability at US S@H

(...) If the Triceratops head fits on a crocodile, it SHOULD fit on a dragon! Hmm possibilities..... Many possibilities :^) Mike All other themes are just spare parts for Castle! (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)
