  Re: New dragon breeds

(...) If ya look close at the pterodactyl, you can make out what I think is a 1x1 round yellow plate. No clue as to what these are for, seeing as how its feet stick out behind it. If it IS a plate, then the answer to the brick bottom mold is yes. (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: New dragon breeds

(...) I don't know... but if they are not too thick, they probably will have a brick- bottom molded on the bottom... maybe... That would be very cool, yes... I can picture my renedition of the witch's windship, adapted to a pteradactyl (sp?)... <set (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: New dragon breeds

The pteradactyls (sp...=)) Could carry minifigs under them, sort of like a hangglider, i was thinking. How cool would it be to see a flight dark knights swoop down, each carried by a pteradactyl? I havent seen a good picture of them lately, but im (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: New dragon breeds

  Re: New dragon breeds

(...) Aye, Ice knights woulda been nifty. But the pterodactyl is almost too small for a rider, don't ya think? I guess it could be tried, but I was thinking more along the lines of having a couple of them haul some sort of sky sled. I don't know, (...)   Re: New dragon breeds

(...) Just maybe! I definitely plan on getting the Dino Island sets - they excite me more than any of the other Adventurer's stuff has. I haven't decided if I'll use them as dragons, or if there should be a "Lost World"/Skartaris thing going on... (...) (25 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  New dragon breeds

I was wondering if anyone else plans to use the dinos from the Dino Island line for new breeds of dragons. Those li'l T-Rex's look to make fine dragon hatchlings. And I'm guessing that 5903 will be a $6 set, so I'll have me a whole herd of young (...) (25 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Auctions cooling off?

I too just got those Items at very low prices, I think that because you can hit most stores right now and pick the Egyptian sets on clearance, people are just getting them there instead of online. Wal-mart has the Big set, the Pahroahs Forbidden (...) (25 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Auctions cooling off?

Howie, There seems to be an excess supply of discounted Adventurers sets at the moment. Auctions are still cranking out outrageous prices. Your fortune is a combination of using a less popular auction forum and the current supply of Adventurers (...) (25 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Auctions cooling off?

Is it just me or are the lego auctions cooling off a little? I just bought Sphynx Secret Surprise for $24.99 and Mummy's Tomb for $14.00 from yahoo auctions. I felt that these were pretty good prices and I was the only bidder on both items. Am I (...) (25 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) D'oh. I just posted re:this on .market.shopping--including a scan of the baby tyrannosaurus that came with 5903 (I got that one early).   success with lego S@H

I just placed a huge order with lego s@h. I ordered the AAT and MTT. I also ordered all the adventurer 2000 sets except for the T-rex capture set and dino research facility.
