  Re: Adventurers Curator

Hi Gary I'd like to use one of your pictures as a "logo" on the .adventurers website: (URL) / This one!> Would that be okay? Chris BTW - I have noticed your support of the Prototype Hunters idea, thanks. I need to get back to that particular (...) (20 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: New Adventurers Website

(...) Hi Steve Yes, most of the posts in the forums have been in Danish. But go ahead and make a new post in English if you like, most Danes speak and write very good English. Chris (20 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  High Road to China DVD

This is a rather "limited" spot of news but for all the Adventurers fans living in Denmark you can buy the Tom Selleck, High Road to China film for 50,- dkk in Bilka. It's not a special edition DVD but it is a fun film and very much in keeping with (...) (20 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Steamed Onions

(...) Hi Kevin The new pictures really do your MOC justice! The Steamed Onion is a really well put together ship that could easily be seen buzzing around, gracefully, in the Adventurers universe. Nice use of the dome(s). I have only previously seen (...) (20 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Steamed Onions

(...) Well, I'll get to work right away then ;) I'm with you as per these parts, it drove me up the wall that they didn't make a circular dome... The angles look alright to my eye, but that's subjectivity for you. I liked the Scorpion Palace enough (...) (20 years ago, 5-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Steamed Onions

(...) Nah, sorry, you have to make a few more MOC's before I'm really convinced (at which time I'll probably decide that everything that can be made with them has been done) To tell the truth, the reason I don't like them because they're not smooth (...)   Re: Steamed Onions

(...) Thanks, Dan! I just could not resist making a 'pune' or a play on words. I've since modified the trusty craft with a tiny smokestack and a few other things. New pictures are, um, pending. Kevin (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Steamed Onions

(...) Well, thank you! :flustered: I do need to get another one of those awful magenta-colored ones, don't I? If these parts weren't so rare/expensive, I'm sure I'd have a fleet... Kevin (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Steamed Onions

  Steamed Onions

More specifically, a steampunk onion-dome dirigible. Just built this evening. Sorry about the crummy pics, think of it as "breaking coverage".   Re: New Adventurers Website

Very cool website. Quite interesting. I'm curious to see some of the MOCs, specifically Johnny's cabin and the Baron's manor (though I'm not sure my Johnny lives in a cabin). Only complaint I have, being the ligustocentric American I am, is that (...) (20 years ago, 31-Oct-04, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Johnny Thunder and the Cave of Terror: Complete Story

I am pleased to present the final part of the innaugural episode of The Adventures of Johnny Thunder: Johnny Thunder and the Cave of Terror. This part is a bit longer than the previous, but I thought it best to do it all at once, rather than chop up (...) (20 years ago, 30-Oct-04, to lugnet.adventurers)
