  Re: Tiger Prediction

(...) Don't forget stingray riders and dolphin riders! Sure, they have to hold on to the animal's dorsal fin, but at least they can hitch a ride through the waves. Steve (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Question about Title of 5914

I'm not sure about the correct characters, but I do know that the name on the box is "Sam Sanister" not "Sam Sinister" as it should be... (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2000)

Re: Question about Title of 5914

(...) To add more oddity to this set, the name printed on the box is Sam Sanister, not Sinister. Julie (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2000)

  Re: Tiger Prediction

(...) I think that the tiger will be very similar to the bear, but with a longer tail. I put horns in the polar bear's mouth and made an albino smilodon :) What theme would they put a tiger in? (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Tiger Prediction

(...) We can always hope. And I *strongly* hope that it's got studs on its back. I was sorely disappointed by the polar bear's smooth back. I want tiger riders and polar bear riders! I can have horse riders, dragon riders, crocodile riders and dino (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.adventurers)

  Question about Title of 5914

After receiving my set 5914 in the mail a few weeks back, I noticed something peculiar about the title, which is Sam Sinister and Baby T. Interestingly enough, the mini-fig that comes with the set is Baron von Barron, right? I thought, and Huw (...) (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2000)

  K-Mart exclusive bundle

Hi, Dropped by the Bellevue, WA Big K-mart on my lunch hour and they have a big box of Legos for $29.99. It contains 4229 with about 800 bricks, 5958 Mummy's Tomb, and a gold, briefcase-like carrying case. Just the fact that the same store had 5958 (...) Anybody know off the top of their head the normal US retail price on this set? Thanks John Battcock (24 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: DINO COP ON THE WEB- IT'S BRILLIANT!

If you were watching the Quicktime clip, then you need to update to QT4. That should correct your sound problem. ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.adventurers)

Re: DINO COP ON THE WEB- IT'S BRILLIANT!

(...) him, (...) I just watched it, but it didn't have sound. It was great anyway, maybe funnier without dialogue. My favourite part was when the scientists fainted. And when Dinocop was moving his mouth, that was well done. (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Temple Of Gloom: 31 seconds of perfection!

(...) and (...) Gah! On the poll, they ask who your favorite stop-motion star is: King Kong, Rocky Rooster, Jack Skellington, or Godzilla. Godzilla? GODZILLA? There isn't a single movie with a stop-motion Godzilla. Godzilla is a MAN in a SUIT. Man (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: next year

(...) No, I don't think that you can draw that conclusion. There's nothing in the movie to date it (by our timeline) and while it seems to be a retelling of a story (at least from the intro scrolls with each movie) it's not a given. I know the (...) Here is a link to a wonderful site dealing with all things concerning colonial wargaming.   Re: My scorpion-towed hover chariot

BWAHAHAHAHAH!!! I laughed until the guy in the next cubicle hid under his desk for fear of my going postal. This wouldn't be half as funny if I hadn't attempted the same thing.
