  Re: Would a general/pilot in WW1.........

(...) Well, I'm going to answer here, because others might like to know the answer too! The short answer is yes and no. Yeah, not helpful, but it's true. The shoulder-thingies (called epaulettes or "shoulderboards") were never used by flight crews. (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: "Is he seriously thinking it's going to work?"

(...) He's sort of like "Rudolph, the Trans-neon-orange Scorpion." I think you should consider the marketing potential of this, seeing as how Christmas is coming up and all. At the very least, perhaps someone can make a short stop-motion feature. We (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(Comparing to Minifigs) So ten should easily pull a chariot-type vehicle. Of couse, the hover-chariot would be (...) (24 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: "Is he seriously thinking it's going to work?"

I bought it, along with nine other small sets, on Crete (I was there, and I had some cash left over, and figured the best way to get rid of them was to spend them on LEGO ^-^). If you're curious, this is what I found: 1184 1185 1182 1186 3055 (in a (...) (24 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: "Is he seriously thinking it's going to work?"

(...) Where did you buy that set? I've never seen it before. You should take his comment as an inspiration to design a scorpion-towed vehicle. The scorpion is very much neglected by animal-towed vehicle builders. But how many would you need? (24 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Would a general/pilot in WW1.........

Would a general/pilot in WW1 or around the times the Adventurers setting have shoulder pad-thingys on them, like Capitan Redbeard in the Pirates? I have created so far a German general/pilot, but I'm not sure if a pilot of WW1 would have those (...) (24 years ago, 21-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

"Is he seriously thinking it's going to work?"

The quote above is from one of my NLF:s, after he saw my newly purchased 1182. The thing he found so fun, was the fact that the building instructions show the scorpion attached to the end of a chain, which in turn is attached to the raft. I had no (...)   Re: What is Oasis Ambush?

(...) Thanks for explaining that to me Ben! I think the mummy thinks I am distasteful though. (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: What is Oasis Ambush?

(...) It's an oasis because there is a tree growing in the middle of the desert, so there is water (inferred) and it is an ambush because you are lured there by a nice palm tree and what appears to be treasure, but it really contains a scarry mummy (...)   Re: Major Find

You found the Chrome castle sets here in Canada? When I called S@H to see if they were going to have them in Canada, I was told they weren't. Bah! Ah well, at least now I know I can find them here. ~Adam (...) (24 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.castle, lugnet.sports, lugnet.adventurers)
