  Oh we can dream...

I had a lovely dream last night that I was the first to discover a new dino set in a under $10 page of a catalog. It was a car driving through a cave with Barron Von Barron inside. It had lots of special colored pieces to make stolen artifacts and (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: New Dino Sets sighted - first scans!

(...) If you look at your summer catalog you'll see the yellow butterfly net also in 1465 Minnie's Birthday Party from the Disney line. John (24 years ago, 23-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.promo)

Re: Amazon Jungle Sets in Germany / Europe

(...) Do you mean have I seen the sets here (Pittsburgh, PA, USA)? If that is what you mean, yep, I've seen pretty much all of the sets. I only own the blimp, the pontoon plane, and the small polybag set (5902), but the rest of the stuff is (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: New Dino Sets sighted - first scans!

(...) Hmmm... 5512 - is that the new Timmy-like minifig? Not sure if I like him all that much, but at least it'll be a refreshing variation. 5514 - what's that net piece? Haven't seen it anywhere... (then again, I haven't *pored* over the dino sets, (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.promo)

Amazon Jungle Sets in Germany / Europe

Hi ! I have some problems getting the Amazon Jungle sets here in Germany. The 5956 "Expedition Balloon", which was in the German 1999 catalogue, was available in some stores. You can also get the small 5905 and 5906 sets, and some days ago I found (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Spruce Goose

Whoops accidently hit enter instead of tab on that last post sorry. Anyways I think the island hopper is the best set in the theme but I think a spruce goose would be way cooler. It could be made out of those 10x8 bow bricks that came from a seaport (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: I was really disappointed when I saw the dino sets......

I have a good but strange explination for the double-color dinos. The gray-legged stegosaurus is really a young elaphant in a coustume. I mean look, the elaphant could keep his long nose in the tail and his tail in the head. And the triceratops is (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

I was really disappointed when I saw the dino sets......

Well, when I saw the S@H pics, I was heavily disappointed of both dinosaurs and entire sets. C'mon Lego, a grey Triceratops with white(?) legs ?? A brown Stegosaurus with white (!!) legs??? How crappy. At least I know now why they got extinct: they (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)
