From memory you have to put the list spacing on the UL rather than the LI
elements. I know you can control just about everything but it has to be done
in the right spot.

but formatting UL would apply on all LI elements, I just would like to format
the LI elements with a specific class.

Hi Rene,
I think the principal is that a list should look the same for all elements. If
you want some to be different you should make two layers of lists or a list
followed by a span or div.
